It’s fantastic! My only complaint is my own clumsiness. I dropped the torch and bent the knob that lets you control gas flow. Unfortunately for me, my time is done with the torch. I’d definitely get it again!!

This product has a nice weight to it and is easy to use. However, I had trouble filling the tank with the butane. It acted like the pin hole in the bottom was not operating properly. I followed the instructions which are very easy to follow, but the fuel just ran outside of the torch instead of going inside the tank. I contacted customer service at JoChef and they responded THE SAME DAY. Unheard of, I know. The customer rep responded to my concerns, even sent me a video in case I was doing something wrong. Unfortunately, the issue just wasn't correcting itself. The company sent me a new torch and a can of fuel to make things right. I'm happy to report the replacement is working perfectly. Thank you to customer service for responding so quickly and for standing behind your product and wanting to make this customer happy. ... show more

Cooking and lighting the fire pit. Had problem with the first unit (bad valve), but the Jo Chef team (Cerine) took care of it right away and I had a new unit two days. New unit works perfectly and Jo Chef followed up to make sure they made everything right. Great customer service.

this is a good torch. substantial feel to it and a larger base to support it. the lock is a great feature, love that I can lock it & unlock it while holding it without fumbling. the knob on the back turns easily to adjust the flame. two small issues I've found but can work with them. 1. the flame adjustment knob is also how you turn off the torch. 2. when filling it with the butane it allows butane to leak out around the fill tip. followed directions to the letter to fill it & no matter what I did it would leak during filling. otherwise it's a good torch with a steady base. UPDATE: after trying to fill the torch again, the leak of butane was worse than the first time & when I gave up I could hear a hiss coming from the fill stem. I reached out to the company by email they responded in less than 24 hours. sent me a you tube link to view and see if I was possibly doing something wrong & stated they will take care of the issue confirming that customer service is a top priority. I was also told that if there was still a problem they would happily send me a new torch. my husband & I went to try again while following the video (which I had been doing it correctly all along) we even filled a lighter to insure the butane cans were not faulty. they were not. Bottom line let customer service know nothing worked, so they sent out a new torch right away. it arrived overnight! haven't tried the new torch yet will do that tomorrow. Another great thing I communicated with the same person from start to finish. Unlike so many companies that you reach out to & you end up with communication from sometimes multiple different people.     • Get the air out prior to trying to fill the butane

Excellent customer service. It was very difficult to fill the torch with most of the butane wasted. Informed customer service and they sent me a replacement with instructions on getting air out prior to attempting to fill the butane. Did so, and not only did the torch fill easily with much less fuel going to waste, it also worked very well. Good buy, GREAT customer service! If you ever buy a butane torch - buy it from THIS company! At least they help you with trouble shooting and work with you until your issues have been resolved. I bought this torch about 6 months ago and have used it several times. The torch itself works great and seems to be of very good quality. However, when it came time to refill it the other day it was next to impossible. I can't even fill the thing halfway to the "full" marker before it spits out my butane. I've wasted just as much as I've put in it. Regrettably, due to the time that has passed since my purchase, coupled with my failure to notice this issue until now—this being the first instance I've had to refill it—I'm unable to seek a return or exchange. ... show more
