I've been looking for something to organize my sheets of sandpaper. The slots are just deep enough for it to work, though the sheets do sag over a little. I use thin cardboard to help with that. I like that it's easy to use, just unwrap it and hang it, done.

This is both very sturdy and a great, space-saving footprint that can either sit on top of a desk or credenza or be hung on the wall. I bought this for an alternate use - as a way to store my oil paintings while they are drying. It works perfectly! I used to have them all scattered about the garage to dry, but now they are neatly tucked into each pocket to dry. I love the small footprint of this unit - keeps everything tidy and organized in a very small little unit. I haven't hung it up yet, but intend to so I can free up counter space. (Hanging hardware was included.) This would obviously work great for it's intended use with file folders to keep things organized. It does have spots to place labels on each slot and has a small shelf at the very bottom where small office supplies (pens, pencils, paper clips, binder clips, etc.) could be stored. I have a few issues with this. Firstly, it’s packaged terribly, just one thin cardboard box around it (no padding or anything) which caused the first one to arrived cracked and bent. The company was quick to send a second one, but that one too is dented in a couple of places which leaves really sharp spots. Also, I worry that just 2 screws at the top will not be strong enough to hold this piece up, it’s heavy on its own before even putting papers in it. And lastly, I just think that it’s really overpriced for what it is. Disappointed. ... show more
