I have been purchasing this product from this vender for awhile now and found my recent order to be substandard. I usually get the 100 count each time. The noticeable changes in the quality: 1) The Diameter of the individual bundles is smaller. My older orders were larger ( see photos ). Please note that the new order on average is a bit longer about 1/8 ". 2) The volume of friable material ( SAGE Leaf ) is substantially less and the new order is comprised of mostly twigs ( see photo ) 3) Burning time and volume of smoke is greatly diminished. 4) Aroma of the SAGE is quite different as the twigs do not release the same smell as the leaf. ... show more

Wonderful price, r lower than anywhere I found during am extensive search on the general web, Amazon, and eBay. The reason then that I gave a 4 star overall rating and 5 everywhere else is because these sage rolls go out about 5 minutes after lighting. I strongly suspect, but don't have enough experience with sage smudging to be absolutely sure, that the sage somehow absorbed some humidity from the air. This could have happened anywhere but not likely in my house because our furnace has been running a lot due to the low temperatures outside and that causes the humidity inside to be very low. I solved this slight problem by placing them in the oven at the lowest temperature setting for 30 minutes. After that they burn quite well. ... show more

I ordered these to make 50 sage bundles as wedding guest favors. I have ordered from Purple Canyon in the past but wanted to try these for the value and quantity. Not too much of a difference between the 2 except I do believe Purple Canyon (in the white thread) was a bit more pungent. I also wish they were wrapped in white thread instead of blue, but since I was deconstructing to add petals it didn't really matter. However I am giving it 4 stars because I really needed 50 and it only had 49 in the box. Thankfully I had 1 extra from Purple Canyon. I may order again because the price was nice, but very disappointed it didn't come with the quality advertised. ... show more
