I got this after seeing someone else write about it and I am so glad that I did. There were so many complaints about being noisey, I didn't think it was that loud. I have found that when I had the ring loose on my waist, as the weight spun around it would "skip" and stop. I decided to take 1 link out and that worked so much better. It didn't get stuck in my tee (as someone else wrote). I only did 10 minutes the first day but I could feel it in my core when I woke up the next morning. Today I did 15 minutes and I hope to get up to 30 minutes morning and night. I am so happy I took the leap. Given as a gift and it was just given/opened today (June 1). One of the weight rollers was broken off. Unable to use because the weight will not go around "hoop". Out of return window time so this gift is useless. Disappointed

Love it! I almost returned it because it kept getting stuck on a link. Obviously user error!! Lol I don’t know how to hula hoop so I struggled but finally got the hang of it and now I love it!!! I’m already down a link after only “2 days” of use! Mind you I’m not a pro yet so it’s been a lot of stop and start but even just continuing to try over and over I can feel it working! I can feel it in my arms from holding my arms up out of the way, my legs, and my belly almost all of my problem areas except for my chin but I’d say that’s a win! Plus it’s a lot of fun, I can’t stop laughing. My advice wear tennis shoes for stability so you don’t go sliding around and better grip for thrusting your hips, try a rock side to side or side to front motion whichever works best for you, wear your links fairly comfortably snug so it can remain even while the weight rotates around you, also while you’re first learning it may help to tie a knot and shorten the string and once you get the hang of you can loosen it again, lastly turn on your music don’t give up and just have fun! ... show more

It’s a great way to break a sweat but the ball stops a lot I don’t regret my purchase just get keep restarting feels like good quality thinner than the infinity hoop but all and all it’s definitely worth the 20$ over the 80 bucks I’ll keep using this one till I’m good at make sure I’m dedicated enough and then actually purchase the brand name one ... show more

I had tried my friends name brand hoop and wanted one at a better price. So I bought this one. It was not nearly as nice as the one my friend had. I did keep it and have used it consistently. I did lose a few inches but it leaves pressure point marks where it touches.
