I bought these ink cartridges because they were said to fit in the Amazon Basics fountain pen, which was my first fountain pen. I am still new to inks and pens but I can tell you that these Jinhao ink cartridges do work for that pen pretty well, and are a lot longer than the cartridges that came with the Amazon Basics pen. I use that pen for everyday writing, and I know that I will still be using these cartridges for probably over a year before needing to order more. I will note that they are too long for the Speedball fountain pen I picked up at a local art supply store, but I don't like that pen as much anyway. I am now waiting for a Jinhao pen to arrive and enjoying these cartridges. Pictured is the Amazon Basics ink cartridge (that I use in my Speedball now) compared to one of these Jinhao cartridges with a dollar bill for reference. The other picture also shows the cartridge currently in my Amazon Basics pen that I have used about quite a bit of compared to the dollar bill and another Jinhao cartridge completely full and on its own. I hope to switch to bottled ink when I finish with these to waste less plastic and have more color variety but I will likely use the Jinhao cartridges day-to-day when I return to working in an office and want the added convenience. My first fountain pen, and I love it! Also, I am left handed, I purchased the Jinhao ink cartridge black (30 pc) to go with my new pen (Jinhao Rose Wood Fountain Pen 8802). The pen writes wonderfully, the ink flows great and dries quickly. It took me a minute to figure out how to write (being left handed) so I wouldn't smudge the ink. People see the pen on my desk and compliment the rose wood. I had someone try to write with it, and they liked it so much they are buying one too! No leaks, the cartridge fit perfectly, absolutely no issues. It makes me feel a little old fashioned / vintage writing with it in a journal, which just adds to the experience. Now I'm looking at other Jinhao pens on Amazon to see which one I'll buy next! (Note: I don't know how long the cartridges will last. I've been using it constantly for the last few days, and the cartridge is about 1/2 empty. So, maybe a week (or 2) with constant use? ... show more

    • Waste of Money - Does Not Fit Jinhao 10 Press Fountain Pen
These ink cartridges don't fit the Jinhao 10 Press Fountain Pen. Total waste of money. Save yourself time and frustration by just using the cartridge converter that comes with the pen and filling with your favorite ink in a bottle.

Received some pens for Christmas from my family in Portugal. No brand name on them, but very nice. Leather/moleskin wrapped around sheaths, well made. These refills LOOKED like they were right size, however, I'm unable to get them to snap into place. They're also quite smaller than the one cartridge that came with the pen; again, no name/markings for me to know what size. So, decided to return them. To my dismay, found out they're NOT ELIGIBLE for refund/return. BEWARE and make sure you're ordering correct size. ... show more
