Was hesitant after reading all the reviews here. Ordered the 36 count, came in a bubble wrapped standard mailing package. All were dry and accounted for although the box they usually come in was in the package as well, all the starters were loose.. Put two in water to test the swelling/absorbing ability. It worked as it should. Leaving them in a tupperware currently to see if any moss/mold occurs before use. All in all so far so good. ... show more

The product itself is as always perfect. What I did not like was the packing by the seller. The use of a bubble envelope instead of a nice box permitted the product to arrive out of the original packaging and loose in the envelope.

    • pretty sure these are counterfeit
I bought a Jiffy tray and pellets that came with that had nice high quality netting around them and stayed firm after wetting them. these seem to have some kind of paper around them and got very muddy after wetting.
