  • Controller is unfortunate
Color: 3400gph 18w
Pushing the boundaries on “value” in the wrong direction. The power head is just fine, low profile, and quality is decent. Controller looks and feels like the absolute lowest common denominator device the manufacturer could find. This thing makes a non-Wi-Fi Jebao controller look like a Rolls Royce and a joy to program. I can’t imagine trying to use this thing for anything other than 100% on or a simple pulse program. I’m using it on 100% (I think, who knows?) to circulate water under equipment in my sump and for that, it’s fine up until it starts an electrical fire. If this thing pushes 3400gph then I’m the queen of Ireland. It’s closer to 1/2 that. Small footprint in tank. Dead silent. ... show more

  • Hard Controller settings
Color: 2100gph 12w
The media could not be loaded. Pump looks like good quality feels pretty strong and quiet but I can’t seem to program it this settings are not user friendly i cant figure whats the recommended flow for this 40g aquatop cube. I feel like its blasting and moving all the sand around

  • Having difficulty with settings
Color: 2100gph 12w
Seems to work fine but I’m having difficulty with settings. It’s not user friendly for me. I did look up online videos but they didn’t answer my questions for recommended settings and I’m not seeing a difference with different adjustments in my tank

  • JEREPET Pumps are so far an Excellent Investment
Color: 2100gph 12w
I was immediately impressed with the Jerepet Eco Sine Wave Maker packaging, the small profile, style, performance, along with their simple directions and eas of use of their controller. I bought my first one along with hygger's new marine light, and Seachem's Tidal HOB filters to set up a low budget 40 gallon breeder reef tank and so far I couldn't be happier with the performance. So much so I've since bought a second Jerepet 2100 gph SWMP. I have to believe Jerepet is the game for the long run, I love that they've included a pump guard and a well made simple controller! The pumps profile is super thin, the magnets strong, there are several settings, a feed mode, a speed light sensor night mode, and these pumps are super quiet. There's a master, slave mode for two or more pumps, plus there's no drive inside of the pump for longer life, and they're really AFFORDABLE! What more can we ask for? I'll certainly do another update in a few months to let you know if these pumps are the game changers I believe them to be. Right now I couldn't be happier with them! ... show more

  • Loud ticking noise makes them useless
Color: 2100gph 12w
I bought two of these to use in a 40 gallon reef tank. After a few weeks one of them started making loud ticking noises during operation. I thought there must be some algae stuck on the impeller, but a thorough cleaning did little to improve the noise. I shut it off and just used the single one for a while. After a few months it started ticking too. I'm talking about LOUD ticking sounds. The noise level is totally intolerable and I could not stand to be in my office where this tank is. I overnighted a single PP-8 which works much better so far. Also these are extremely powerful. Way too powerful for them to be run in mode 3 together in my 40 gallon where they would create back and forth waves. So I ran them on mode 6 which is where a single one runs for an extended period and they switch back and forth. Problem with that is that with 1 going at a time they create a strong circular current around the tank instead of a back and forth motion that I'm desiring by having two. If you could angle them toward the surface of the water, they would be more useful considering the power they put out because it would disperse the wave in a way that makes less of a feedback loop. One final thing I'd like to point out is that the mesh covers are major nutrient traps. Any food that doesn't get eaten right away will get stuck in them when the power heads come back on. They basically need to be cleaned daily which is very annoying. I bought a single Jebao PP-8 to replace these and its working much better. Don't waste your money on these. ... show more

  • Obviously has a lower build quality for the price
Color: 2100gph 12w
I was a bit hesitant to get this product but after giving it a chance, have had it for a few weeks now and it waaayyyy better than the hygger mini wave maker (which i have had for about 6 months). This product definitely pushes a lot more water, which was my main interest for my IM 25 gallon lagoon. The interface buttons are are bit hard to push but that's about it. Super easy to use and no need to program it and figure out what all the modes do and not spend about 4 hours trying to learn all the modes like the Hygger. Definitely wish i would have gotten this as my first wavemaker. ... show more

  • Rattle Noise?!
Color: 2100gph 12w
Was completely silent for a week and then I started to hear a rattling noise... I took it out and gave it a good rinse under the sink. Put it back and it was silent again at first but the noise came back after a few hours.

  • Controller burned out in a month
Color: 2100gph 12w
You get what you pay for I guess. It wasn't a terrible wave maker but it definitely doesn't move the advertised amount of water. It would barely reach the other side of my 29 gal tank. Its a little noisy but could be worse, but my biggest complaint is that the control module just quit working after about a month and a half. Just outside of the return window. Haven't had a chance to contact JEREPET yet but still a month and a half, come on! ... show more
