I purchased this dog runner on Amazon because I didn't want to pay a arm and a leg for it in stores. After reading reviews on the hardware that came with it I decided to go to a hardware store and get sturdier hooks to screw into the tree and it worked great and is still holding strong. If I can compare the hooks that came with it to anything I would say they would be perfect to hold stuff on a hook in your garage lol For the price I payed for it i had no problem going to the hardware store and buying $2 hooks for it to last forever. ... show more

There would be a few things I would change with this item. One being a longer tie out line, The one that was provided was just too short and did not allow my dog to room very far. I have it stretched out 95 foot and has been out for quite some time. The carabiner runs nice along the main line there are bumpers at both ends that stop it so there is no chance of it getting stuck. I had to use some other hardware as I think I was shipped an uncomplete kit. I have one and mounted to my house and the other mounted on a 12 foot 4 x 4 pole are used heavy duty bolts on both ends to make sure there was no chance of breaking the line ... show more

Got this so I didn't have to buy a $600 dog run. It works fine, but you need two people to assemble it. And after a couple months, the clip wore out. A few more months and the plastic cover for the wire was stripping.

Works great with my 120 lb bloodhound,, extremely adjustable and easy enough to put together, took maybe 15 minutes. Easiest to put up with two people, once up it can be adjusted by just one individual. Good product, but the bolt/hooks it comes with are not super strong. Our dog German shepard,aussie, lab mix had it down with one good tug. Once we replaced with stronger bolts it was perfect!

This product seems like it will be great for my 70 lb golden retriever. It serves it’s purpose well. However, I noticed that one of the claw clasps did not come attached to the actual dog cable as it is pictured. Both claw clasps should be attached to the cable on either end, and yet they sent one completely unattached. It is a little inconvenient and now very awkward to attach the dog collar to.
