Just got these home and unboxed them. Was expecting a granite type of surface these appear painted and splatter painted white. The handles are missing some wood print. I boiled water as the first step in seasoning the surface and with the lids on each one steams in THREE directions. Out of each spout on the sides and the pointless vent hole, it was a challenge not to melt anything including the other handles. The handles on the large pot get INCREDIBLY hot. I let them cool on the stove an lightly washed the lids w soapy water and a rinse. EVERY lid has water under the handle and you can’t get it out without removing it. I regret this purchase immediately and will replace them as soon as I can. In good news they appear to heat evenly. ... show more
