I believe that the picture displayed to represent the actual fountain has been edited and enhanced to attract the buyers' eyes. If I start listing the many flaws this fountain has, or say had, I would have to change my rating to one star. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When it gives tomatoes make some bloody mary. Using my creativity I modified, strengthened, and repainted the fountain to fit my needs; (never plan on returning this item there-for I can care less about voiding any "warranty"). While cutting and drilling through the material a lot of the paint chipped right off and in some areas, I could simply press my finger on the material and easily punch a hole, it is that thin. The design of the fountain I enjoy very much for which reason I believe that a 3-star rating is fair enough. ... show more

Very easy to assemble, I like the way the pots are stacked. Also size is fine and what I expected. Disappointed the colors are a bit dark. Not black like some reviews indicate but not quite as light as even in this picture. I was okay with that, but after a little over a week, the paint started to chip off. Since it didn't take long for paint to chip, I probably will have to paint it soon and then I'll just make it the color I want. I expected more for the price :( I wouldn't order it again, but and that's too bad, because I do like the shape of it. ... show more

Part of the charm of the fountain is in the coloration. The gray color of the stone looks like stone, the pots appear to be clay etc. The fountain came all one dark, drab color. All of the charm is completely lost.

I have this on my patio - it is perfect! I put a couple of paver stones under it to raise it higher (like on a platform) and then put plants around the base (I have it in a corner). I add water every 3 or 4 days (and it's been really hot lately). The fountain was very easy to put together and set up was quick and simple. I do like that you can easily hear the water because that is exactly what I wanted - to drown out the sounds of cars and neighbors. ... show more

Looks cute, but too much smaller than i thought. I had to put stones under to make it taller. The color is just dark, not the same as the pic.
