  • Very pleased
I wasn't really sure what to expect, as this is my first foray into aquatic plants. But I was very pleased with the two plants I received - they were very healthy, I didn't see any hitchhikers, and were well padded and packed in double zip-loc bags. Good roots, lots of leaves, for not much money - thanks very much! ... show more

  • Worth the short wait!
Don't know what the lifespan is like given the conditions, but these live plants are awesome. "Bluey" approves. Much care went into packaging. Super impressed they arrived with no dead leaves. 🍃

  • Beautiful plants
So nice, they don’t even look real. Alive and healthy even though I didn’t get them out of my mailbox until a day later. Fish love them.

  • Great plants
They came alive and it was in the delivery system for a week and they still were fine. The fern had a few brown spots but they still were great this is a must buy

  • If you don't know how to care for this plant, please read
Going by the reviews, a lot of people don't know much about this plant. First of all, DO NOT BURY THE ROOTS OF THIS PLANT! Also, these are shipped as multiple plants all tied together with black thread to make a bunch. That black bunch at the bottom of your plant is not roots, it's a lot of black thread. See in pic 1 - you need to gently cut the thread and separate the plants. You can see in pic 2 and 3 as I gently cut and separate the plants. Pic 4 shows the rhizome, from which the leaves and roots grow. That is the most important part of the plant. You can see in pic 4 that the original bundle was actually 4 plants, tied together as one. If you don't separate these, the string will suffocate the plant and it will gradually die. Even worse, if you bury that bundle, it will die even quicker. You can see in pic 6 the string that was wrapped around the plants. In pic 5 you can see small pieces of rhizome, with no roots or leaves. Don't throw that out! Just drop it in your tank, and over time it will grow roots and leaves and make a new plant! As for the separated plants, the rhizome and roots feed from the water column, not the substrate. Either tie or super glue to rocks, driftwood, or they can even float free. Google java fern care for more info. I'm not sure why the sellers don't go over these instruction, but this is how it's done most of the time, it's nothing new to this seller, so always be aware of this fact. If you follow these instructions (and you have the proper water parameters), you're going to have some nice java fern, as these plants ARE quite healthy and for the amount you get, this is an outstanding price. I was very impressed by the amount of healthy plants for this price. Hope this helps, and good luck! ... show more

  • One healty, one not
So the Fern is not healthy or happy at all, it's mostly brown and just looks awful. In the quarantine tank it's just...it looks so unhappy, an eyesore, and it's been in there for almost a month now. I'm hoping it will give me something to at least propagate. The anubius is super small, again, this is the second time I bought it and I wouldn't have bought it if I had paid attention to the fact that I bought it before and rated it low. The older Anubius I had purchased has already died, it would have been in the last few years anyway that I bought it, I got my tanks in 2021. I think the Fern from my last purchase is still around and I just propagated it to replace some other plants that are too big for my smaller tank. Whoever shoved this brown little fern into a bag and said it should be worth any money at all, should be ashamed. I will not buy again. ... show more

  • Not sure there is enough there to grow.
I may update if it actually grows. Just not sure there is enough structure for the java fern to grow looks like mostly leaves no root ball and yes I know it's a mid Water column plant not rooted in substrate. The Anubias was perfect beautiful plant.

  • Excelent plants
My plants got lost in transit but ultimately they made it to my house, it was like 3 days after the delivery date but they were still very healthy and alive which i was grateful for. The amount of plants received was also surprising and good, one full anubia with lots of leaves and a java fern that came with at least 5 or 6 leaves, i would recommend the seller and product ... show more
