    • Amazing bike, loving it, small challenges
After having ordered 2 of this bike and riding them around for a month here are my key takeaways to share. Challenges 1. I see they addressed the issue with people saying the front wheel fork gets bent in delivery by putting a bar with 2 nuts on it. Confusing part though was this was not reflected in any videos or the instructions. For a noob this presented a challenge but eventually I figured out what it was, its purpose, and how to remove it. Overall assembly took me about 30mins per bike. 2. On one of the bikes the back tire was flat day 1. Pumping it up gets it good for about a day but it needs a tube replacement. I don't know how to replace it but what I have gathered with these bikes is that they are easy to figure out with enough online research and some basic tools. 3. There are no holes to install things like bottle holders and phone holders. Get ones with clamps! Things I appreciate about it, 1. For the price point it has been a blast! It has gotten me on the road after work most days which is a huge win for my personal goals. It is a ton of fun and having the ability to change from 0-3 in assist is helpful for when I want it off to push myself or if I need it at some points on hills and such. It will not get you up a steep hill by itself! But it will assist you which is mainly the point. 2. It has an intuitive feel about it. The handlebars and seat are comfortable, the throttle and display are sleek and handy, I can tell it was well designed. 3. I have taken it on paved trails and roads just fine, as well as some easy trails. It is rather smooth overall. 4. Battery life is great if you don't use the assist by itself or on higher levels for long periods. When treating it like a motorcycle or trying to go fastest it will die in about 2hrs of riding. But used as a gentle assist I got the same distance in that would normally cost me about 75% of my battery in about 10%. Used as a tool it is rather efficient and can last multiple trips. I am sure with time as I get stronger and build endurance I can make the battery really last. If you are looking for a fun entry point to an ebike that is well thought out and has some pep to it to get you out there then look no further! This bike is an awesome e-bike purchase! ... show more

Beautiful sturdy bike! I loved this bike, but for my 5”2 height and petite size, bike is too heavy for me to lift into my van to take places and straddle bar too high to straddle. I sold this to a friend who loves it and have reordered a lighter bike without the second straddle bar. A step through design. It really is attractive and so sturdy! Hated to let it go. I wasn't even looking for an ebike. I was looking for a standard bike in a lower price range for carrying some cargo/groceries and in-town travel. The price on this was too great to ignore. It assembled easily, and all done with included tools. The bike is easy to ride, feels good on the electric assist, and overall meets all the requirements I need of it. There were a couple quality issues. At the bottom of the steering column, you can see the bottom ball bearing pushing out of place. It doesn't seem to have any impact on steering. Also, there was one spot on the seat column right side where paint was rubbed off during shipping. There were plastic protection plates used in a couple places to stop this, but this spot still managed to rub. It's a little spot of chipped paint, which I promise will be joined by new friends soon enough. Neither of these are real problems, in my eyes. This isn't the first bike I've seen with an exposed lower steering column bearing, and far from the worst example. All in all, I'm loving this bike. I should take advantage of the interest it gets to sell it for a profit and buy another. ... show more

    • No more expensive fuel for me!
105 US miles on the odometer and still going strong! The battery IS draining slightly faster than day 1. It is now taking 2 bars of life to get to and from work. Not a problem at all. That's roughly 11 miles of awesome biking trails with up and down hills. So far I have hit 27mph on a downhill portion of my ride home. I had one wreck at 23mph because the trail I was on came to an abrupt end. The disc brakes just aren't "grippy" enough to slow you down when you're going that fast. After the accident the bike was still in perfect condition despite the damage I personally took. But I still made it to work and we all shared a laugh. 105 miles and I am excited to get back on and put another 100 on. But first, a tune up at the shop. The assembly was very easy and instructions were clear and easy follow. It comes with all of the tolls you will need and some you won't. I did put my own seat on it as my backside prefers a wider rear platform with better air flow for my accouterments. The suspension is cool with the ability to lock it down for smooth track or leave it squishy so you can take some bumps. Definitely do not take this on jumps or large bumps; avoid riding off curbs or buckled sidewalk pieces. The derailleur/tensioner bounces and the chain will come right off the front sprocket leaving you with dead pedals. Also. I live in Arizona and so far this battery and screen do not get hot enough to make me worry. I like the screen dimmer to make it less bright at night. The front light is very bright. The rear is reachable and does not need to be plugged in to work. ... show more
