Like most people, I have an eclectic set of tools consisting of individual pieces thrown together in a generally collected area. I wanted something a little more uniform, organized, and with more specific items. This kit seemed promising, and it IS. It comes with a lot bigger selection than others I've seen in this price range, and it's not constructed of flimsy materials or a lot of useless extras. I will note that some of the pieces are smaller than average. Not radically so or anything, just a bit below what most would be used to, I suspect. I personally like that, but that's because most of the time, I'd rather have something that's easier to control or work with in not always ideal locations. Also, I'm not the strongest person in the world, so I'll take the slightly smaller hammer any day. I added a picture to give some idea of the size I mean. The drill, compared to my other, is also about 2/3rds the size and weight, which is frankly a relief. It all fits well in the bag it comes with, which feels pretty durable. If I absolutely had to find any cons about this, it would be that the branding sticker on the drill came already loose, so that's going to be gone in no time. More importantly though, and something I think someone needs to be quite aware of and figure a solution for is the box cutter. In the exact state it arrives in, it does not fully restract, meaning a small triangle of the blade is sticking out, without any protection over it. I included a picture of that specifically. I think that will be easily resolved the minute you snap one of the break away bits off, but if you don't want to do so and waste one, you might want to consider making some sort of sheath or put tape over the end of it so that you don't receive a cut when absently digging around in your new tool bag. If you've spent any time doing DIY work, you know how quickly tools can add up. I have a rental property with four units and there are so many odd jobs I find as we turn over units. This kit will get you through majority of all basic DIY needs. I don't know that I would recommend it to someone who is doing professional contractor work, but it absolutely is adequate for the everyday person. Its an absolutely stunning value for the amount of tools it comes with, and I'm extremely pleased with it. It stays tidy in it's bag so I'm not searching for tools. The only recommendation that you may want to add to this toolbox is a longer and more sturdy tape measure. Other than that, I have no complaints. Even the voltage meter was such a pleasant surprise when going to swap out light fixtures to be sure the right breaker was turned off. ... show more

This is a compact but fairly comprehensive kit that is great to carry in your vehicle or take camping or keep around the house for light duty jobs. I specifically wanted this for the light weight cordless drill that is easier for me to handle than my husband's large drill. This drill fits my hand perfectly and is not too heavy, but still has sufficient power for the jobs that I would tackle. I like that you can set the power and torque to go lightly if you are worried about stripping out a screw or increase the power if you are trying to drill into hard wood. The drill has a handy light to help when working in dark spaces. It comes with various attachments including a few drill bits and screwdriver heads. I think for this price point it would have been nice to have more sizes of drill bits and something better than a plastic bag to organize them, but I am happy with the drill and that is the main thing. The other tools in this kit are a mixed bag as far as quality. I actually like the small hammer as it is lighter weight to use if you just need to tap in a nail to hang a picture. The screwdrivers and pliers are good enough quality to do light duty jobs. The plastic saw is a bit of a joke and the level and tape measure are also sub-par. The bag is nice enough to keep everything together and is compact and easy to carry in your vehicle or store in a small space. I do feel like you could buy all of these tools separately and get better quality for probably less expenditure. However, I like having it all in a compact kit that matches so it is easier to keep it all together. I also love that it is PINK because that way my husband knows that it is MINE and if he borrows something then he has to return it. ... show more

I don’t know of any man that is going to want a pink drill but that’s okay, they can stick with their Ryobi or DeWalt drills, this one is more lightweight for my hands and easier for me to handle. It comes with a lot of tools, some I’m not even sure what they are and several bits. The pliers need some WD-40 to loosen them up. I really like the bag to store them in. The hammer is smaller and I like it much better than my regular sized hammer. It comes with lots of different sized screwdrivers. It charged very quickly, I wasn’t really sure when it was done because the light on the charger was a solid green the whole time so maybe it came fully charged. I think this is a great kit and I have never owned a drill so I’m definitely happy to have one. I see lots of drilling in my future, instead of slowly getting my screwdriver out to insert screws. ... show more

Just about everyone needs a basic tool kit around their home. I guess this pink set is aimed at women and it is relatively complete. You get a hacksaw, hammer wrenches, screwdrivers and driver bits, pliers, tape measure and a lot of other mostly useful stuff. And, of course, you get a relatively powerful cordless drill - I just wish it came with two batteries.
