This is a good saw when used as intended. It is a little flimsy, so I have to use a little caution when using it. I like it overall, but it is easy to bend. It needs to be made of a different alloy, spring steel comes to mind. Easy to straighten if you do bend it through operator error.

2 different tooth counts, 1 side has fine teeth, less tear out, while the other side is more aggressive teeth, a little more tear out, but you will definitely saw through your project faster. Bhought this specificly for cutting off Dowel inserts. it cuts them like butter. don't know about the longevity yet ,but it looks like it will last. only minor nitpick: one side of the teeth should have been completely flat to te service. so the teeth do not dig in to the side wile cutting the dowel flat to the surface. but the lines are minimal and dissapear when you sand the dowel flat. so no bigi. ... show more

Have not found anything yet that I don't like with the saw so it has a home for now. Don't be an idiot and try to cut down a tree with it. The tree will win. Small saw for cutting dowles.
