Bought this back pack for my 6th grader. It has so many compartments and zippers. Almost too many. She forgets which one she needs to open. One of them is kind of hidden which is nice for her more personal items. The straps have great padding for comfort and the pack seems extremely durable. I have a good feeling it will last her quite awhile! ... show more

I ordered this for college and it is great! I'm an interior design student and it holds my giant laptop great and the pockets are very large for school supplies and carrying my huge brick of a computer charger. the weight distribution is great and noting ever pokes my back! This is such a cute backpack. I've always used Jansport and have never had a problem with them before. They've always lasted forever and held up in the washing machine really well. But sadly, that wasn't the case with this one. After one washing this weird, white paper stuffing began leaking out of it. I couldn't find the hole where it was coming out of, so I assumed I must have left some papers in the backpack by accident when I washed it. Not the case. I was extremely careful the second time, checked and rechecked every pocket thoroughly to be sure they were all empty. After the second washing, wads and wads of this weird, recycled paper stuff with old print still on it was coming out of a slot in the back of the backpack that hadn't been sewn closed. So disappointed with the cheap quality and poor manufacturing of this particular model. I'm going to try one more Jansport, and if this happens again, I'll know they've gone down the drain with quality control, and I'll move on to another brand. ... show more

Bought this for my 3rd grader - her previous backpack didn’t have a water bottle slot on the side (very important these days!) and only had one compartment. This backpack has numerous compartments for the variety of things she packs and she loves it! It is comfortable too.
