I like the sturdiness of the build and the smoothness of the ride. I haven't clocked the top speed but it is very quick. I was able to get information to unlock the speed limiter on the bike. The brakes are calibrated well and I had no fear of being thrown off. I can't really speak about longevity of the battery because I just got the bike but it's pretty hefty. I bought this for my 10 year old son and he cried on Christmas when he saw it. It works great, as expected, but it sits higher than I thought. It’s definitely for someone at least 5’2 or maybe even 5’4. But my son who’s 5’ manages to get on and off and ride it without any issues. His friends too. The front light is hard to stay in place and wiggles so it’s facing downward. Don’t know how to fix that so we took the light off. We noticed part of the rear wheel hub looked like it might be coming apart so I quickly contacted the manufacturer's customer support through Amazon. I let them know my issue, and I didn’t hear back, but within a week was a brand new rear wheel and tire, about a $350 value, for free. I couldn’t believe it. I don’t normally write reviews but this purchase merited it. Oh one tip, buy some Tannus Armor wheel inserts to prevent flat tires. My boy managed to flattens both of his tires in less than 24 hours and changing those tires is not a fun and easy task. It’s more involved and time consuming than changing a regular bike tire and you don’t want to do it more than once if you don’t have to. ... show more

Well, unfortunately I have to update this review once more - the seller did rectify the battery issue but the bike has since given us a number of other problems including full brake failure. Truthfully, the brakes have never been strong, however they’ve now catastrophically failed and this is after 300 dollars worth of service tj make sure they were properly set. This bike is fun but it would seem dangerous for multiple reasons. —- Updating this review a few weeks later, I was contacted by the seller and after explaining the issue, he remedied the issue with a replacement batter, charger and connection. I installed the replacement parts and the bike and charger seem to be working just fine. We'll keep a cautious eye on the battery and charge it in the visible place with people home at all times ... but I suspect this may have been a one off. --- Original review --- I would like to give this bike a great review, because it is generally quite a bit of fun. However, we have a major issue and a fire hazard with the battery and the charger. The unit becomes so hot while charging that it trips, the electrical breakers, and I am pretty certain that if it wouldn’t trip, it would melt, we have contacted the manufacture and are awaiting a response ... show more

I've owned this bike for a little while now and I think it'd ne a good time to share my experience with it. So far. As far as the bike goes, both fenders have fallen off. the front one came loose after about 150 miles of riding and the rear just recently came loose after 290 miles. I assume the solution for this is as easy as putting some thread lock on the bolts and torqueing them back down - I just haven't taken the time to do so. The headlight, turn signals, taillight and brake lights are really great. the taillight is bright and get brighter when you pull the brake lever, the turn signals work while braking & with the taillight on, and the design of the taillight in general looks pretty sleek (I also appreciate that the turn signals are sequential). The seat is fine, the quality of it actually looks pretty nice but I've found it's not the most comfortable after an hour or so of riding. The suspension is nice for the price this bike is at but overall I wish it were a little bit softer, still it isn't disappointing. Even though I had issues with the charger it shipped with, the customer support was pretty quick and replaced it for me. If you're thinking about getting your first E-Bike, this thing is pretty much perfect as an entry point. I'm still enjoying this bike at every chance I get even though I definitely see myself upgrading to something nicer in the future. ... show more

I've been riding this for the past two months with very little issues ! Came with a flat rear tire replaced the tube, no issues since although I took the precaution of adding flatout in both tires when I assembled it. Watch the youtube videos for assembly/repair as they are full of useful tips. If you're have no mechanical skills you won't be happy with any ebake the all require maintenance ! To me it was money well spent, Having a great time with my new toy ! Although 200.00 delivery charge does seem excessive, no discount for Prime members ... show more
