This was very easy to use. I was able to fasten my blackberries up to the trellis very easily, and quickly. Much faster then using string, or tape - which may end up "girdling" the plant and causing damage to it. These were short lengths of plastic tape, which will stretch if needed, or break if needed, and won't hurt the plant. Every review says it doesn’t work. Mine works great now that I have figured out how it works. You have to squeeze it to get the tape to attach to the end and then put it around the vine and whatever you are attempting to attach it to and then squeeze it again to staple it. The squeeze again for your next attempt. Once you figure it out, it’s awesome! Its such an amazing time saver. I have grapevines and this thing made it so easy to attach them to the trellis. ... show more

LOVE IT! Can't believe how easy this is to use. This is going to take my gardening to the next level. I read a lot of reviews that it was hard to use/figure out how to use. I'd say not hard at all to use but can be a little frustrating to figure out how to advance the tape with no instructions. Now it's not super difficult to do--actually had a WA LA moment when I did it. I watched a YouTube video and it literally took 30 seconds to figure out---just have to close the tool, like you're going to staple it but stop after 1 click and the hook will pull the tape. That's it to set the tape for the next wrapping (don't click 2 times--all the way to cut it--just 1 time). ... show more

This product worked great until I had to refill the staples. After that it jammed non stop. I’ve wasted a whole role of tape and hundreds of staples trying to get it to work. If they could fix that fatal flaw, it would be a must have for home gardening!
