We wanted an alternative to disposable zip loc bags and these reusable storage bags hit the mark. They come in 3 different sizes and each size has a different seal color. The seal is very strong; it takes a little bit of effort to open, which is great. We use them mostly to story fruits and vegetables in the freezer. After a month of use they have held up very well. While we don't store liquid in them, juice from the fruits do sit in the bag and there was no leakage. They are not dishwasher safe, but we found hand washing and drying to be very easy. We typically sit them upside down over a jar to ensure the inside is fully dried. It typically takes 1 - 2 days to dry. You cannot store hot food in the bags or heat them in the microwave. If we want to store hot food, we let it cool and them store them. I would purchase these again, but with 22 bags in a pack, I don't need a second set. This amount of bags more than fits our needs. These feel like really good quality. I’m using them to store justfoodfordogs that I made. I was looking for easy storage and dispensing options that didn’t require additional waste. I was able to store single servings in the small bags, I can actually place a full days serving (1.5 cups) in the small bag but since I have 9 of them I use them for single servings. Once I use the freezer bags I will update my review. I won’t place them in the dishwasher as they aren’t dishwasher safe. Not good for the freezer. I placed 3 bags of homemade dog food in the freezer using the gallon and smaller bags, both resulted in freezer burn. I placed them in the freezer Monday today is Wednesday and they all have ice crystals. Otherwise they are good. ... show more

I've been washing plastic disposable baggies for years because throwing them away seems like such a waste, but eventually they get too worn and get tossed. I have dreamed of a heavier, more durable, bag for a long time. I LOVE these bags. They keep things in the freezer fresher longer and I like that they are thicker and stiffer than a disposable bag. Someone in the reviews mentioned seeing ice crystals on their homemade dog food after 3 days in the freezer in these bags and called it freezer burn. It is NOT freezer burn. If the food had moisture and there was some air in the bag, ice crystals happen naturally - probably a vaccum seal would be the only way to not have some ice crystals. Just try to find a bag of frozen veggies in the store without some ice crystals - I double dare you. Freezer burn is that nasty condition of the food getting dried out over prolonged time in the freezer. When I buy any frozen fruit or veg, I put it into these bags right away rather than storing in the original packaging. I have noticed that my freezer has lost that funky freezer smell since using these bags, which pleases me greatly. Sometimes I have to work the edge of the seal open patiently as I wish my fingers were stronger (I have older, mildly arthritic hands) but I would rather have a bag with a tight seal than a bag with a poor seal. You will spend far more than $20 on disposbale bags over the course of a year, so why not try these? ... show more

These bags are a really good option to use instead of a disposable bag. The seams are nice and thick so they won't pop and the closures are sturdy. I think they seal better than the disposables! The sizes are versatile - the "sandwich" size is larger than a sandwich bag so you can get thicker things in them while still being able to close them tightly. While I would have liked these bags to be able to be filled with warm/hot things before going into the fridge - I couldn't do that with a disposable bag so it's not a problem - more of a suggestion to the manufacturer. First, I love how these are color coded at the top. I am able to find easier in the refrigerator and sort in a drawer if I have multiple bags stored in fridge. I have purchased both types of bags, and love them both. Great for using other than food, such as make up and medicine. I especially love to marinate meats and chicken and my veges seem to stay fresh longer than if I just stored straight from store to fridge in original packaging. I will admit having to wash is easy, but drying them took me time to figure out, I just let them air dry in my top rack dishwasher and works perfect. I thought during the covid days, these would be a good idea and great timing to try them out. Figured if they worked out good I'd buy more. I make and freeze my own dog food. So I go through a lot of baggies and it can be waiste full. So I recently made more dog food so I tried these bags out. So far so good. They seal very well and nothing so far , has gotten freezer burn on them. I bought a rack just for whe. I wash these to let them dry. It also is working out very well. I was very skeptical about purchasing these bags but I couldn’t pass up getting 22 bags for $19.99. This year one of my goals is to be more eco friendly. I’ve been spending so much money buying ziplock bags and at the end of the week I had so much unnecessary plastic waste. I saw some reusable bags at target 1 bag for 13.99. I bought it but I obviously needed more than one so that’s when I found these at about .90 a bag. It’s definitely a good deal and good quality for the price. I’m pretty happy with my purchase. They come in 3 sizes. Snack, quart and gallon size. They’re waterproof and easy to clean. Help reduce waste and buy reusable bags. ... show more
