  • Great bed
Color: Blue Design: Gray Camo Tent
Came yesterday in 3 boxes. No damage yay. It took me over 5 hours to put together (woman all by myself, well with little kids running around all the time). The instruction came in 2 sets. You can attach the stairs left or right same with the slide you could put it next to the stairs or on the opposite side. Every piece was labeled and the instruction was nice and clear to understand. The wood is nice and sturdy, it has a little smell but it’s colored wood and it’s not to strong. The only issue I had was the tower above the slide. I did not install that. I failed lol but I am not an expert handy woman. The screws broke out the wood piece you connect the metal to. So I just left it and didn’t install it at all. It is awesome even without it and my son was ok not to have it. I am almost 200 pounds and sat with the mattress in the bed to put the covers on the top and it did not break. I would feel comfortable to sleep in it without worry to break. The weight limit is 175 so I was very careful though. The stairs are really solid and I have no worry they will break when I stand on them. My kids love the bed the slide is strong since it has wood panels supporting it under the sliding board. We all love it and it’s money well spend, we hope we get many years out of it and I don’t see why. ... show more

  • Well Built and so COOL!
Color: Grey Design: Red Blue & Yellow Tent
I am so impressed with this bed! First we received our order within DAYS! It came an entire week early! So awesome! It took 2 of us darn near 9 hours to set this monster up, but so worth it!! Here’s some stuff we learned during set up... 1) Try to limit distractions....aka kids being around 2) the staircase IS lableled! And fairly easy to set up, IF you pay close attention. You choose either right or left, so pay attention to what your doing. We put 1 board on flipped, and had to almost disassemble to correct the mistake. 3) The actual loft bed IS NOT labeled!! So haha that was fun! But directions do have good pictures and again pay attention to which way your facing things & you should be fine. 4)The bed is quite large so make sure you measure the room before you purchase. 5) BE PATIENT. TAKE YOUR TIME. overall I would absolutely recommend this bed! The quality of the wood is pretty decent. The bed is solid. And cute as heck! My almost 6 year old and 3 year old LOVE IT!!! Side note : make sure to open up windows and even turn on a fan because the smell from the packaged wood is pretty strong. ... show more

  • Great sturdy bed!
Color: Grey Design: Red Blue & Yellow Tent
Best bed- slide goes a little fast but my 5 year old loves it- only thing that scared me he curls in a little ball when he’s sleeping and has almost slid down the slide at night i had to sleep w him a few nights and I built a little wooden gate that I slide over the slide opening when he’s sleeping so He can’t fall down- otherwise it’s adorable- set up I did by myself- I HATE putting things together but I have too say this was not difficult it did take me 6 hours but that’s because I was alone- I didn’t use the two top roof pieces because as other reviewers said it completely blocks the slide. But it’s fine without those two pieces. Bed is sturdy, well made seems too be all real wood too. I’d give this above 5 stars if I could- stairs are great- drawers are a nice addition and I use the back of the drawers to store stuff too! All in all excellent purchase! ... show more

  • Great bed. Strong smell initially. Allow plenty of time for assembly.
Color: Cherry Design: Gray Camo Tent
We were nervous about buying this bed with no reviews, but we are glad we did. My son absolutely loves it and we are happy with it too. Just make sure you leave plenty of time to put it together. The main part of the bed took about two hours to open the boxes, organize the parts, and assemble. The stairs ended up taking a little bit more than two hours even though the parts were better labeled than the bed, and that really wasn't expected. (Keep in mind that we had a boy who wanted to be helpful in this process too. It probably would have been faster if he wasn't there.) Here are some general comments/feedback about the product and our experience. *It definitely seems to be good quality and quite sturdy. I have no reservations about being up there with my son, and we are probably close to 175 lbs combined. The stairs are very sturdy too. My hubby, who is >220 lbs sits there to read to our son. *Assembly was mostly straightforward and the directions were ok, not great. It's all pictures, no text. There were a couple points that the pictures weren't perfectly clear, but we figured it out. The parts for the main part of the bed weren't labeled, but the parts for the stairs had stickers with numbers to easily tell the pieces apart. *The parts lined up very well on the main part of the bed, but the stairs were a different story. We struggled more on that part of the assembly and had to re-drill a few holes. You could even see the pencil marks from the manufacturer where the holes were supposed to be. The tower (not shown in the picture I provided), which we waited about a week to assemble, was really difficult. Some of the parts were bent and did not naturally fit together. Unfortunately, I had already thrown away the box that had the phone number on it to call with parts issues. I assumed the tower would be a piece of cake compared to the rest of the bed. So the handful of assembly issues is one of the reasons I didn't give it 5 stars. *The smell of the wood...it's pretty bad. I expected there would be a smell, but I wasn't expecting it to be quite so bad. It's been well over a month now and it still smells, although not nearly as bad. If you think leaving the parts out for a few weeks will prevent this completely, guess again. *I put the fabric without the plastic windows in the wash before we added them. They washed well. I wouldn't recommend washing the ones with plastic. *There were no instructions for putting up the fabric, but it was pretty intuitive. Just note that the ones that hang on the bottom go up using velcro that you have to stick to the bed first. It's really easy though. *There are no existing pre-drilled holes for the tower to attach to the bed. This was only an issue because the pieces to the tower (as previously noted) did not line up well because some of the parts were bent. It ended up being fine, but that definitely was a two-person job. Someone has to hold the fully assembled tower in place so someone else can drill/screw it into place on the bed. Overall, we are very happy with this bed, especially at the price we paid, and would buy it again. ... show more

  • Perfect for our daughter's room and much less than anywhere else
Color: Blue Design: Pink & White Tent
Shipping was fast and directions are clear. It came in 3 large boxes and they showed up on different days. Easy to assemble as far as large furniture items go, and less than half the $$$ than the same bed at several furniture stores. She will be able to use this even after she's over the Princess Castle phase - its a super cute loft bed under the pink tent. Drawers giving it extra storage and the stairs being safer than a ladder sold us on this model. ... show more
