It is probably the first time I am writing a review but really want to do it for this product. Before I purchased this bed I did an extensive research on what kind of bed I want for my toddler. The reasons I bought this one: low loft - not too high and there is space under the bed; stairs as oppose to ladder. 1. We received it several days earlier than expected which was a pleasant surprise. 2. The assemble instructions were easy to follow. 3. This bed is very sturdy - does not wobble at all, there is no squeaking either. I was worried I would need to add additional planks to reinforce it, but it is not needed. 4. As for the slats, I know how some beds have just a few slats and was ready to buy additional but again it is definitely not needed (please see to the picture). 5. As we assembled the bed we found 2 pieces with cracks. I contacted the seller right away and received a replacement parts within just a few days, faster than bed. Great customer service! Overall I am very happy with the purchase and I would definitely recommend it. The little one loves it as well. ... show more

Quite a bit of research went on before this purchase. We wanted a good quality bed for our 5yo room; one that would last through the years, while still keeping plenty of floor space. This bed was exactly what we were looking for! It is sturdy, comfortable and beautiful. Made of quality wood and equipment. The company was responsive to questions and gave me excellent customer service (thanks Maria!). It arrived quickly in three large boxes and was easily assembled in a few hours with clear directions and numbered pieces. It was wonderful watching our kiddos eyes light up at the sight of his new room. This bed really brought the space together and he now has a cool fort underneath and a cozy bed atop, plenty of storage and space. We are extremely pleased with this bed and company :) ... show more

I looked for a junior loft bed for my three year old for about 3 months. After reading hundreds of reviews for several beds, I chose this one. It is perfect for his tiny bedroom! It spans almost the entire length of his room at 98 inches long and is a perfect height. My son has enough room underneath for a little fort to house his bookshelf, chair, and basket of stuffies. I love having the stairs so as to avoid slips off of the ladder. I also love the drawers in the stairs. They aren’t very big, but they are a decent size to store clothing that he hasn’t quite grown into yet. It is super sturdy too. Both of my boys (ages 3 and 4) love to sit on it and look at books or play with toys. It took my husband just shy of 4 hours to assemble it mostly by himself (I only assisted with 3 steps). The instructions weren’t the best, but he was able to figure everything out with minimal complaining. Overall, I am very happy with this bed! It even came 3 days earlier than expected (which was fantastic because it came on a weekend so we were able to set it up immediately). ... show more

This bed is a great and sturdy bed for its value. It took me and my teenager just about an hour to easily set up with clear directions. I bought this specific bed because it had the right clearance under the bed to fit my kids dresser and open up space in her room. The dresser is 32" tall and just fits under the inside of the bed. The bed is extremely sturdy and is perfect for my 9 year old to grow into for years to come. My only issue is that the bed came in 2 packages at different times with no notification from the company that it would be in 2 packages. We got rid of the old bed and went to install the new bed with the first package however, the directions weren't there and parts were missing. I emailed the company and they promptly responded letting me know there was 2nd package and provided at tracking number. 2nd package came with parts and directions within 2 days and was able to complete the new bed quickly. I totally love this bed for my 3 year old son. Highly recommend this to be a 2 or 3 person job. I did it alone and took 5 hours to complete. My order came in 3 boxes and the medium sized box weighted the most. Tools provided worked alright and you do get a few extra pieces as far as screws and nails go. The hardest and most time consuming part of the build were the steps!!! The directions are easy to follow until you get to which side of the bed you want the steps to go on. I flipped one board wrong (picture in directions didn't provide clarity) and ended up taking the steps apart to correct. The bed is super sturdy and a pretty color. Did have a strong smell but wiping the bed down did mitigate that. We have a twin bed with pillowtop about 7 inches thick and still have alot of rail left (at least 8 inches) for saftey. Overall I'm completely satisfied with the purchase and my son loves his big boy bed. ... show more

Ok so it's heavy in the boxes to move yourself. But once you get it to where you want and open it up it's nice. Fairy easy to set up. I like that it can hold upto 400lbs. I don't know how accurate that is but I'm 230lbs and my son is 30lbs. I know we arent 400lbs but it holds us just fine. The grey paint we got look nice in his room as well. The step storage it helpful. We got this bed to help storage issues in a small room. And since he was going from a toddler bed to twin we really didn't have the room for that. So now with this bed all his toys fit underneath saving lots of room. Even tho the price was higher than others this was a better choice. The material is much heavier duty and has a higher weight limit then the ones half this price. The extra money was worth spending. ... show more
