These rods truly exceeded my expectations. They are made of metal - not some cheap plastic - and they came very well packaged. I found no damage or defects whatsoever. I purchased the corner connector and curtain rings from the same company and was happy to discover that the colors all matched very well. They were very easy to install. We purchased these curtain rods (72"-144" warm gold) to replace some older, smaller diameter rods when we replaced very lightweight curtain panels with very heavy light-blocking panels and we realized the old rods were bowing under the increased weight. The 1" Ivilon rods arrived quickly and were well-packaged; I was most impressed with how the tabs on the outer box had "pulltabs" which made for easy opening without ripping the box to shreds just to open it or breaking your fingernails (it's the little things LOL). The supporting hardware inside was also efficiently packed and protected and instructions were included. We weren't lucky enough, of course, to be able to hit studs when anchoring the supports, and drywall anchors are included, but we opted to use beefier anchors for the top screw in each support since we were hanging very heavy curtains. So far we have hung two rods, at about 72" width each, so we only needed to use 2 of the 3 included rod sections and 2 of the 4 included supports; there is a slight amount of bowing when the curtains are pulled across but it is negligible. We were very impressed with finish on all of the hardware; it's consistent, seems durable (didn't nick or wear during installation), and was just what we were looking for. I'll upload a couple of photos although it's hard to capture a curtain rod; the color looks a lot lighter in the photos - it's a bit darker and more "bronze" or a little brass looking IRL (more like on the website).
