  • Not too bad
Color: Black & Yellow
These are ok. Good enough. The volume isn’t loud so you can hear what’s going on around you. Apples beatsX you can’t hear what’s going on around you so if your out in traffic or with people these are a good choice but if your wanting to escape like at the gym they might not be what you would need.

  • Not great, but they are decent.
Color: Black & Yellow
Background: I was looking for some noise cancelling ear buds to replace a pair of WorkTunes over-the-ear style headphones. I wanted noise cancelling, Bluetooth and earbud style for use when mowing my grass. I have all sorts of hearing protection variants/style that my friends/family and I mostly use when target shooting. The good: These earbuds check all three boxes for what I was looking for. I like that they are small and lightweight, as well. They paired easily. The sound is middle tier. They stay in my ears, just fine, even while bouncing around on a lawnmower. They even came with a few different sized ear cushions, to properly size them to your ear. They charge quickly and even have an indicator light for the status of that process. I like that the earbuds have magnets on the outer ends, so they will 'lock' together when not in use, helping keep them around your neck. The bad: Ok, so my only 'serious' complaint with these is the connection quality. Yes, I could complain a little bit about sound quality, if I wanted to, but that just feels like nit picking at this price point. Plus, I am just using them to mow. I don't care about the quality all that much. No, they don't sound as good as my $200+ electronic noise cancelling over-the-ear muffs I use when shooting. But should they, at a quarter of the cost and 1/20 the size? The connection quality is an issue, though. Maybe I got a bad unit. I don't know. But they do seem to cut out, actually, quite frequently. It is only for a fraction of a second at a time, but it is frequent enough that I wish I hadn't purchased them. I was hoping it was just an issue that was isolated to my phone. Sadly, it was not just my phone. My household has many different Bluetooth enabled devices and they ALL have issues with these earbuds. They pair fine, but will regularly drop audio for a bit, on and off. I was hoping it was just interference from the mower or another source, too, but I have tried them all over the house, in the middle of a field, random places, you name it. They just don't keep a solid connection, it would seem. IT doesn't matter how charged they are or what I am doing. They just don't work as well as I would have liked. So, back to my old WorkTunes that are falling apart. :) Conclusion: Personally, I wish I had NOT bought these. But that is me. I had an old pair of WorkTunes that I was just replacing because they were getting beat up and old. Plus, I didn't want an over-the-ear style, anymore. Sweating while mowing with those on was getting pretty nasty. On paper, the ISOtunes fit the bill. Sadly, their poor performance is hindering them a bit. If you are the type that doesn't care about the regular sound drops, you won't regret the purchase. They charge fast. I have never had them die on me in the 3-4 hour yard work sessions. The audio quality is decent/average. If you know how to properly insert ear plug style noise cancelling devices, you will get more than enough dB reduction to suit your needs for most applications. I will be switching back to my WorkTunes, though. I have a hard time coping with the frequent audio hiccups. It is very frustrating and distracting, to me. I will throw these in the drawer with my spare hearing protection for when more people than usual come over to shoot with us. I just cannot use them for their intended purpose, like I had hoped. ... show more

  • Batterie Life?
Color: Black & Yellow
I used the reorder feature on Amazon thinking that I would get the same item. The new Earplug Headphones do not seam to have as good of batterie life. Audio Books, and phone calls are main use.

  • Not bad. Great for work. Could be better
Color: Black & Yellow
Shorter battery life than most. Volume and sound are okay but not great. Good fit. Pairs easily. Would probably not buy a second time. Unimpressed for the cost vs others

  • This is my 2nd pair: I recommend them to friends. Caution- be careful when charging.
Color: Black & Yellow
This is my 2nd pair: I recommend them. This is the replacement of the set I’d purchased previously. I damaged the charging port over time with not being careful enough when plugging them in. Only real complaint- must be sure when plugging in or the charging port will be damaged.

  • Was expecting better
Color: Black & Yellow
They are okay but not great. I work in a very loud environment and they do not stop enough sound. Not to mention they do not get loud enough in a break room with some outsider disturbances.

  • Magnetic feature is convenient and useful, but they will likely fail in short order.
Color: Black & Yellow
The magnetic retention is the most beneficial feature of these earbuds, it keeps them from getting lost and makes them convenient to throw on in the morning and not have to worry about them until i need them. Additionally, they don't go off through a metal detector which is nice. I've had 3 pairs of these, one of which is the newer generation which died completely after 3 months of use. This pair made it about 6 months but its battery life and total use before failure does not compare to the first pair I bought years ago. The battery life is less than half of the original pair that i owned and failed much sooner, approximately a year sooner. The quality on these headphones has gone down significantly. These are safety rated headphones, so you would expect the quality to hold up in harsh working environments where people need their equipment to hold up. For the expense, they are not worth it anymore. I'm not spending 70 or 80 dollars on a new pair of ear buds every 6 months. I still have these, because i use them as regular hearing protection even though they don't produce sound anymore. The magnetic feature is convenient because it keeps me from losing them. Every other pair i've used that don't have the magnetic clasp feature get lost lost in very short order. Buy yourself a pair of 3m worktunes instead. I use these as convenient in ear protection underneath my worktunes for very loud environments that require double hearing protection. I would recommend these in the event that someone has a habit of losing other types of ear buds or has an active work style/life style that the magnetic feature could be beneficial for. But don't expect them to last a long time, even under normal use conditions. ... show more
