The media could not be loaded. I’ll start with the bad cause it’s that important Even when locked YOU CAN CUT YOURSELF ON THE BLADE!!! I grabbed it from the bottom on the side with the blade, not a great place but I was in a hurry. It was locked. The blade is still exposed on the bottom. I work out of my home so my work space moves around as do my tools. I have great concern about leaving this around my 9 year old granddaughter even though she knows not to touch it. If it’s in her way (I sometimes work at the same as her to spend time with her) and she grabs it in the wrong place she could be seriously injured. Other very good. This paper cutter is not like the old really heavy ones, but it still works just fine as long as you don't try to cut too many pages at once, but that goes for most paper cutters anyway. The blade is sharp enough to make a crisp cut through card stock, and the handle locks down for safety, so all in all this is a handy paper cutter for someone who needs it. My office had an older paper cutter, that couldn’t cut anything. I bought this model and we all love it. It is sturdy but light to carry. The blade is sharp and cuts well. We have a whole new attitude towards our paper cutting chores!

This cutter is mostly plastic, so it isn’t very sturdy. If you’re going to cut a single piece of paper, it works great. If you’re using it to trim HTV, vinyl or thick paper, it will tear it instead of cutting it. For the price, I will keep it to cut small pieces of paper for crafting. But for my major crafts, I’ll use my Fiskars paper cutter…..that I bought after this. ... show more

I purchased 2 of these and both had the handles break within the first handful of cuts. It's very dull, cuts rough, and is very light easy to break plastic.

When i receved the paper cutter, i noticed it had some noticeable scratches but since it doesn't affect how it works, it didn't matter too much. One of the bottom stabilizer pieces was off and i stuck it back on. It's very light weight. As far as cutting, it is sharp and i was able to cut probably 4-5 pages at once.
