I decided to try this Zinc Oxide sunblock since I have bad case of Melasma which is made worse by sun exposure. My only complaints are the steep price ($32!) and the lack of specificity on the container as to whether this sunblock is meant for face, body, or both. It would also be nice to know if it’s noncomedogenic to prevent acne. However it worked well on my face to prevent sunburn and also any darkening of my Melasma hyperpigmentation. The product itself can become quite runny on your skin when exposed to the hot sun and/or sweat, so be careful to avoid applying it near your eyes. ... show more

The ISDIN Fusion Mineral Body Ultralight SPF 40 is a 100% mineral sunscreen that is suitable for even folks with sensitive skin. As the name suggests, the formula is "ultralight." It's not that greasy and feels light on my skin. There's nothing worse than feeling greasy and having something heavy on your skin when you're already sweating buckets! The smell is unoffensive and the formula provides some hydration to my skin. Overall, this is a fantastic body sunscreen. The formula makes it very easy and pleasant to use in a time where your skin might need extra help or protection. This one applied well and seemed to last on the skin during regular outdoor activities (no swimming, no strenuous activity). My husband and I both used this all weekend as we were gardening in our very sunny yard. I have VERY fair skin, and so I have to be super careful. Sometimes, even SPF 40 isn't quite enough to really protect me. But, this one did wonderfully! I had not a hint of sun after my hours outdoors, and so I am very happy with this sunscreen. It is easy to apply- spreads nicely and you don't have to fight to get even coverage over your skin. It is very lightweight, and I am honestly shocked at how light and sheer it is- I didn't get much white cast at all even though this is a mineral sunscreen- I am super impressed! It feels lovely on, not oily or greasy. I am a big fan of this! As someone who more often than not needs to be doused in sunscreen, this is one of, if not the best mineral sunscreen I've tried in terms of comfort to wear and effectiveness.
