Finally the perfect hat! The size is accurate and the fit is better than expected. A lot of hats of this type tend to be too low around the ears and interfere with wearing glasses or sunglasses. This hat fits just high enough off the ears to allow the wearing of glasses without issue. The cap shows high quality craftsmanship and wool is soft. I have gone through a lot of hats of this type looking for just the right one. Some have too much fabric that hangs over the back, Not this one. Some are too poofy and give a "mushroom" type look. I love the quality, look, workmanship of Biddy Murphy products, but the one problem I see is that sizing is often inconsistent. My head is large and with some styles I wear a XXL while on others the XL is almost too large. I own 6 Biddy Murphy hats and caps, so I think this is a fair statement. I've continued to buy them because of the quality and look. I just wish they could fix this issue. ... show more

My Gahhhhhd, what good quality! I've had three or four caps like this -- this one tops them all ! Ha! Seriously, the quality of the fabric, workmanship, and feel of this... wow! One for Dad, and now one for me too. FYI runs bigger than expected comparing US sizes (Sm, Med, Lrg...) but runs exactly as detailed in the size chart to the hat. I'm impressed. ... show more

The fit was precise and as described. If you know your centimeters or inches and order that size it will fit. Since the hat was listed as "Extended Brim" I was expecting a little more in the brim dept. Perhaps this a 'large brim' in hats by this maker. Less than 2 1/2 inches deep and 7 inches max width.
