The description did not say that it doesn’t work on light or white hair. Didn’t find out til I read included instructions. My chin hairs are almost all white so it does me no good.

    • Easy to use, results take time

This is my second IPL device, and in my opinion, it works just the same as the name brand. It does take time for results to occur, which can be really frustrating when you're trying to stay consistent with using a device. it almost makes you want to give up. For safety, it's super important to follow the instructions completely. You don't want to look at the light. It is very easy to use, the instructions are very easy to follow. I started with one area of my body and will move on to the next area whenever I start seeing results. I don't think this works well in areas with more coarse hair, but that's just my opinion. I'll need to come back and update whenever the hair actually goes away, but as far as using the machine itself, it's been easy. This permanent hair remover comes in nice spa like box with all the necessary tools, like glasses and a razor. Instructions are translated to English with a few mistakes but are still easy to understand. The machine requires plugging into an outlet to work and the cord is only a couple feet long. The device is easy to hold and the buttons are in easy reach when holding the device. Following the setting recommendations in the instructions for my skin type (light with dark hair), I am 7 weeks into treating my hair. I am using on face, chin, arm pits, privates and legs (almost entire body). I did 2x a week for 3 weeks, followed by weekly for 4 weeks. I am due to drop down to every other week now. As far as results, I am not seeing any yet. I am still shaving all these areas the same amount and have the same amount of regrowth/stubble. I understand this is a lengthy process, but I was hoping to start noticing something by 7 weeks of consistent use. So I can't give it a full five stars because I have yet to see results from a product made to deliver results. I did give it 4 stars though because it is super easy to use and overall meets my expectations. I have had no irritation to the skin, no burning or pain with use. Most flashes have a quick recharge time between, although sometimes I have to slow down because it needs a few extra seconds between flashes. Using the glasses provided does still leave my eyes feeling a little irritated after use, I have gotten better at closing my eyes when I hit the button. Hoping to see results soon. If not, I will have to update review to 2 stars for the pain free easy experience but last of producing results. ... show more

I was looking for a painless hair removal product and came across this. When I received the box, It looked very pretty. It has all the instructions in detail, a little bit confusing, but still upon reading twice I think I finally got the hang of it. Now when it comes to usage it’s not as straightforward. You have to shave your hands, legs and or whatever area of impact and then use this laser hair removal device. I guess to heat up the roots and stalls the growing process. I did try as per the instructions 3 to 4 times though I don’t see any change as of now and it is mentioned that it needs to be used multiple times for the hair to slowly stop growing or getting delayed. As of now, even though I don’t see any effects of it, I guess I’ll still keep trying. It’s painless for sure, so why not. ... show more
