This case is very pretty — the green marble is stunning. It is very thin, so it doesn’t add bulk to your iPad. Those are the good features. What I am disappointed in, however, is this… it takes some effort to get the iPad into the case, and the hole for the camera is slightly off. I won’t use the camera much on this device but, unless I received a defective case, it is not made to fit correctly. Also, the upper corner of the bottom cover by the camera lens peels back and is not attached. I can see it will potentially be an issue over time. The way that the case is designed, the case makes it very difficult to manually power the iPad off. I use my iPad mini mainly for reading, and I like to read in bed at night. The case is very slippery, making it too easy to drop. And if you like to prop your iPad up horizontally, the grooves are almost nonexistent, so the iPad keeps collapsing. Too many minuses and only two positives. For these reasons, I am returning this case and looking for another one. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It’s a very pretty case and does it’s job of protecting the screen when you close it…but when I use the stand to watch shows, etc it has a really hard time staying up. Will probably buy another case because of this issue.

The case fits the iPad mini very well, but the problem is that when you want to prop the iPad up on the indentations provided, the iPad just slips and falls down. I believe the problem is that the indentations are not deep enough; so I have to place something in front of it in order for it to stay propped. ... show more

***UPDATED REVIEW: I started a return and made note that the wrong size was sent despite the description stating that it fit my model iPad. I was given a full refund and the company reached out to learn more. In addition, I still needed a new case and accidentally ordered the same case from the same company because I liked the style (pregnancy brain had me forgetting what I had just returned). I tried to cancel but it already shipped. Today I received the second order and it came in the correct size and it is GREAT quality. It must have been an honest mistake the first time around, but the company was very responsive in getting it fixed. ***ORIGINAL REVIEW I have an Ipad mini and confirmed the model number (A1538) and it does not fit despite it explicitly saying it does in the description. I wish I could give it 5 stars but to prop it up in the two slots it gives, it never really stays. It actually falls a lot. Other than this it’s fine, just wish the slots were a little deeper so it stays up.

I needed a case for my new iPad, so I went searching on Amazon for something distinctive. I have bought other cases and always bought plain colored ones, but this case caught my attention! I loved the "marbling" so I thought I would give it a try. So, far so good - the case fits nicely, I can stand it up easily and (most important) there are cut-outs for all the buttons. I really wanted this to work bc I liked the design. A couple of issues.. while it is lightweight it’s almost too thin of a material and I could see that it would fall apart easily with regular use. Second, it is too slippery, the grooves are not deep enough to hold the device up, it really needs some non skid pads that fit into the groove. Had to return it. ... show more

I feel my iPad is more protected than with just a Smart Cover the sleep mode works . I can’t judge the durability as I’ve only had it a couple of weeks but no problem so far.
