  • Great Keyboard for my IPad
Color: Rose Gold
I needed to replace my previous keyboard I was using for IPad, as the touchpad kept getting in the way of basic typing of messages. I would accidentally hit the touchpad often, my screen would disappear and I’d have to go hunt for what I was writing. I was happy to find this great, new keyboard! The keys are so much softer, making the typing a much better experience. I also love the other features, including being able to easily turn the screen in a different direction. In addition, I absolutely adore the pink color. I am incredibly pleased with this purchase! ... show more

  • It's almost perfect
Color: Black
So here's almost just what I wanted. It's almost perfect. It turns the ipad into a netbook. Hard case + keyboard = awesome. I love it. I highly recommend it. I will be showing it to my friends and guarantee I will absolutely drive future sales as I think this thing rocks. I do have some feature suggestions. I could care less about the pencil holder thing. It's clearly modelled after the MS Surface tablet as the stylus loop is pretty much exactly what my surface tablet has for its stylus that I never use. Meh. Big meh. I'm tempted to cut it off. Wish like on the surface you could have the option of sticking it on either side. The Surface stylus loop is a sticker, put it where you want. It makes NO sense for the pencil holder to be on the bottom instead of the top in portrait/tablet mode. Kinda dumb. Even in clamshell mode it is on the left when most people are right handed. Little product design advice. Next advice: This hinge is clearly modelled after the Lenovo Twist laptop, which I had. Now my daughter has. The hinge works the same way. This is super cool and I love it as it was one of my favorite laptops. Here's the hinge issue though. It can't fold all the way around to the other side. That would be super cool. Just needs a double cardan type hinge so it can fold on a second hinge and get the full flip under. Next product feature request/suggestion: It needs a touchpad so it feels more like a laptop. A small one would be fine, certainly enough room for one. It should also suggest turning on the advanced keyboard navigation features in the instructions because that option makes this keyboard even way cooler. Okay, that was two. Next feature request is to make this thing work more like the ASUS transformer, which it obviously also gets its design ideas from. The tablet/netbook design rocked. The transformer was a tablet with 8 hours of battery that clipped onto the keyboard dock... which had its own battery that could charge and prolong the life of the tablet for another 8 hours for a total of 16 hours of battery. Surely, you could come up with a wireless or wired charging design. This would fix another issue... The keyboard is too light. If it had the battery bank in it, it would increase keyboard weight so the thing doesn't fall over backwards when you tilt the screen too far back. Is USB-C too much to ask for? Seriously? Using micro-USB is so 10-20 years ago. Again, back to the battery bank idea, plugging in the keyboard to charge both keyboard battery bank and tablet is just a good design idea for the next gen product. If there was even a thin covering of a neoprene like rubber in the case to help absorb shock from drops, that would rock. And if the tablet could mount in either way left or right (for the lefties, not that I'm one of those weirdos :D) that would just be a solid design idea. I mean, what would it take, cut some more holes? Whoever designed this made the coolest ipad keyboard case I have seen so far. I love it. All the above isn't criticism in the slightest. Just suggestions. If you're reading this as a customer, just buy it. You'll love it. Those floppy soft keyboard cases suck. Can't use them on your lap without a lapdesk. This case makes it a mini laptop running iOS (sadly). It's dope. Pull the trigger and get it, people. Okay, suggestions out of the way. They keyboard, while a little small, is excellent to type on, and I am a larger dude with big clumsy fingers, yet I can touch-type on it great. It's quite good. The "Twist" mode stuff is exceptional, the hinge feels sturdy, the material is solid. It seems to have amazing battery life. It's almost exactly what I wanted. It fits the bill quite nicely. I got one for my son and after playing with it for an hour I knew I needed one for my ipad. I love it. Buy it. ... show more

  • Best purchase I’ve made for my ipad
Color: Pacific Blue
I love this case. The features work great and I love the versatility of all the different positions. It makes using the iPad comfortable and seamless. I haven’t had battery issues with mine like other people talk about, my one and only problem is the pen holder. It’s great quality made of some sort of like pleather. Looks and feels great and seems quite strong. My issue is it fits the pencil perfect and has no give at all. I do use a silicone case for my pen for comfort, not a super thick one, so it doesn’t fit. You would only be able to have one of those sticker covers on your pen to use the holder. I wish they had made it out of the stretchy fabric you usually see. I’m wondering if I can somehow pull that out and add my own stretchy holder. So yeah my only issue is that it’s made to well I guess? I’ve only been using it for about a week so I can’t attest to the durability of it quite yet though it does feel solid and strong. A friend with the same iPad actually used mine for 2 minutes before he decided to order one himself. ... show more

  • Going to review both 9.7 and 10.5 Since Amazon doesn't let you review them individually.
Color: Graphite
Starting off this review which I'm re-writing completely since a lot of information has come to light through more extensive testing, first we'll cover the defective one, the 10.5. Then the 9.7 one which works well. First off, I bought these for non-apple products, but did test the defective one on an ipad Pro 12.9 running the latest ipadOS version. 10.5 2.5 Stars for not working ==== Look and finish is nice, but the plastic is brittle and you can tell it will break without anything in it to give it more rigidity. Even opening this device up for the first time to put your device in it, feels questionable given how rigid the hinge is, which makes jabbing and interacting with the screen a real joy since it does a great job minimising wobble. My Tab s6 and 5e really floats in this device even with a tpu case artificially expanding its dimensions, though tablet straps seem to do the trick, you know the ones that are an elastic band with hooks on either end, really secures your tablet in place and allows you to still use all of the positions for the device without interference. Nice simple and cheap solution. Then there was the problem, pairing with my Samsung device was fine, no problems there. Then I tried my "quick brown fox" typing test, and noticed that the top letter row wasn't working. So I tested the rest out, no issues, but it was only the "q", "w", "e", "r", "u", "i", "o" and "p" keys, randomly they'd work then go back to not working, can't figure it out, tried everything. I got it to work once completely then stopped using the device and when I woke it back up, it started acting up again. I think it's a charging issue, since it was working right, right after I pulled it from the charger. This was made odd when it didn't even work for my iPad, nor windows. I really wanted to love this guy, the light diffusion on this device is amazing. No weird issues where you can make out the three leds being blended to make a color thus creating an annoying shimmer. Really is the best I've seen on any keyboard in this price range. THOUGH, no white color, lame. They have like a warm white, but not a pure white. 9.7 5 stars, works great I bought this one for my Tab s3 (and yes, I have all of the tab s line up, except for the original 10.5, had it, broke a long time ago). The Tab S3 snaps into place but still has about half a centimeter of clearance on all sides and of course none of the cut outs line up since the tab s3 has an off-center USB C port (lame on the Tab S3 part). Other than that, the media keys worked well, everything is working fine. Really love this case, and I used the same trick as the other case with the tablet band to ensure a secure fit. Weirdly, the keys feel different on both versions. The 10.5 has a gross rough texture, where the 9.7 has a nice satin texture to the keys. I'm going to re-buy the 10.5 and see if I just pulled badly, and as for the 9.7, can't recommend it enough. Great case and great design. Oh, weirdly the 9.7in case doesn't have a loop for your stylus like the description says it does. Which is a shame since the Tab S3 doesn't really offer a spot to stick your stylus. The pictures just show how this fits and how the buttons aren't aligned properly. Then the one with it almost closed is showing how the Tab S3 just barely fits in there that the clips hold it from falling out. Though, upon opening the case back up, the tablet then usually dislodges. UPDATE: --------- Okay, got the second one in for the 10.5 version, IT WORKS, so that first one was just a bad keyboard and a fluke. Little worrisome since it implies poor quality control. ... show more
