Serious Improvement over stadard issue 2Ah batteries (And they are not bad)

    • Gen I and Gen 3 batteries are interchangeable
I was looking for the original 3AH replacement for my Gen. 1 ION auger. Information was next to impossible to find. Even the ION website couldn't accurately tell me what Gen. Or battery I needed. I learned that Gen. 1 and Gen. 3 ION augers have interchangeable batteries. Gen.2 have a different tab configuration, so they won't work with other Generation configurations. My Gen. 1 came from the factory with a 3AH battery. It lasted 6 seasons. I researched and found out that the Gen. 3 4AH "should" fit and work, so I ordered it and received it today.
