So loved the look of this chair. Was excited when I opened the box bc the color was PERFECT for my space. Quality of wood was nice and not shiny or cheap looking. But, first thing...all the big screws were loose inside the box, both boxes. It appeared the "tools" container came apart. Wouldn't be a big deal but the box has pretty big holes to be able to carry the box. Luckily all the screws were at the bottom of one box and the other box was only missing one screw. It was a little wonky to put together alone, but I managed. One of the dowels on one piece was broken, but Im not one to give up so I was able to liquid nail it together and reenforce with a long nail. Then, I started looking for button plugs to cover the screw holes and there were NONE! I couldnt believe it. They weren't even included on the list of included items on the instructions. And then the top side holes of the the chairs, the screws don't even sink in, they stick out. I was able to find a box of 1/2" wood button plugs (at Home Depot for $3.50) to cover all the other screw holes. Had to liquid nail those on b/c the holes were just slightly bigger than the wood buttons. But Im not sure what im gonna do about the top two screws...gonna enlist the help of my BIL, who likes to fix things. Hoping he can enlarge the screw hole so I can get those screws to sink down enough for me to cover with the wooden buttons. Or mabe I can find similar screw with a narrower head. Y'all might think Im crazy to go thru all this but I really liked these chairs, the aesthetic was exactly what I wanted. With the lumbar pillow they are pretty comfy and a good size too. ... show more

Bought this for my MIL after she took me to Goodwill because she saw a chair there she wanted. That was shot down quickly, I like Goodwill, but she deserved better than what she showed me. This was easy to put together quickly, and is a really great looking chair when done. Padding is firm but not hard. Really nice piece for the money, and she's very happy with it, so there's that too. ... show more

I bought these chairs during the latest Prime Deals so this is only an initial report. Shipping was awful. They sat for 4 days in Georgia before shipping then another 3 in Oregon. I ordered two chairs and the boxes arrived without damage. Packaging was excellent. Watch the video! I assembled the chairs without any assistance in less than an hour. The video was quite helpful and very easy to follow. As noted in the photos, some parts were sub par: joints not aligning, sections not sanded, scuffed wood. These are mostly hidden once assembled. The chair bottoms are firm which I like. As noted by other reviewers, I too will buy larger pillows to replace the included lumbar ones. These pillows are too small to be functional and too similar in color to serve as accents. The chair frames are solid! I wanted accent chairs that would be easy to sit in and get out of (for aging friends and relatives). Since the backs do not slope significantly and the arms are very supportive these should fill this need. The drawings show 18” seat height; mine measure a full inch shorter. The height was a selling point so not being as advertised was disappointing. The bolts are inset but the holes are visible. I’m sure the local hardware store will have some wood plugs I can pop in so they look more finished. I do like the beige color and the overall look of the chairs. They are comfortable and for the price, a good buy. As noted above though, there are several minor items and I did consider returning them because of these. ... show more

These are WAY nicer than I had feared. They are, in fact, great chairs! Easy to assemble, comfortable and durable. They look like they could be from West Elm or Article. Definitely recommend.

This piece is super cute for that aesthetic feel. I would say’s it’s the BEST at comfortability but it’s also not bad. I would say definitely have a little footrest to add that super comfort feel. I say that only because for me as a tall gal it’s harder to rest my head when the back part of the chair is pretty low. I usually slouch down to rest my head with a foot rest piece in front. The only pain in the butt part was the set. Such a pain in the butt. Can’t even explain how but just keep in mind it took two people to set up because you need one person to at least keep piece together so the other person can wind things in place. This company has such great customer service. After I assembled my chair I had to reach out to the company regarding what seemed to be mismatched pieces or minor defect in manufacturing. I sent pictures and a brief message.
