  • Easiest Upgrade to my laptop!
I was rocking to the Latitude 7390 2 in 1 which capped its connection performance at 2.4ghz wifi signal and 4.1 Bluetooth. The 5g wifi I was paying for was literally being wasted into nothingness. Luckily this $20 chip gave me the benefits I was paying for without having to go out and buy an entirely new laptop. Now I will say, I was very scared when I opened the packaging. I should've taken a picture but to describe it, it was a simple small cardboard box with the chip surrounded in bubble wrap. It was definitely secure, but would it be legit? Didn't look like it but I still went ahead with the installation to know for sure. To anyone who has ever installed an M.2 SSD, this was that easy. Well of course it was since it used the same connector. I didn't have to buy any other components because the previous intel wifi card used the same antennas already routed through my laptop. I do suggest plugging those in first then putting it in the M.2 slot. One screw later and installation was complete. Lastly, I turned it on. I did have to reconnect to my wifi and repair my Bluetooth devices but after that everything worked seamlessly. No drivers or anything. It took about ten minutes from the time of the package arriving to turning on my laptop with the new intel wifi card installed. I highly suggest the Intel AX210 as a simple upgrade for better speeds. Please do open your laptop and check for compatibility first. Intel wifi cards haven't changed much in their physical shape I dont think but it's better to be safe than sorry. ... show more

  • Stable upgrade for Linux laptops
I used this to upgrade my Asus G14 laptop running Linux to enable it to use 6Ghz Wi-Fi. No issues with stability or connectivity and nice low latency gigabit speeds on wide 6Ghz radios. Recent kernels will support the card no problem, and there's no issues on switching between any of the three bands. ... show more

  • Easy ish upgrade.
Wanted to update a six year old top of the line dell laptop. Installation process was easier than the removal of the old card, but well within the ability of most diy enthusiasts. Was recognized immediately and installed without any trouble. Quick visit to Microsoft update and card has been rock solid going forward. Good buy imo. ... show more

  • After some initial hiccups then correct installation, stellar performance and reliability
Bought this to replace the notorious Mediatek RZ616 m.2 wifi card that comes with many AMD-based motherboards. At first, I thought there might be something wrong with this new card because I was still getting random drops (20-30 seconds) from connectivity, though with completely different error messages in Win 11 Event Viewer. Re-seated the card a couple of times, swapped antennas, still had the same issues. Turns out that a tiny flimsy plastic piece that came with the motherboard's wifi module enclosure that I didn't bother installing initially, was actually important because it positions the card at the correct height and location of the m.2 slot located in the I/O section on the motherboard. After I installed the plastic piece / re-seated the card within the enclosure, all the connectivity issues disappeared and it's been rock solid for both bluetooth and wifi. My guess is that without the plastic piece, it wasn't fully seated in the m.2 slot so was giving weird random errors / half working. I'm seeing a few reviews with the same errors I had been getting ("device stopped", etc) so I'm wondering if this is a common issue (card isn't fully seated/properly seated in the slot). Additional info: This Wifi card is PCIE and not CNvio2. This is important because it means you can use it with non-Intel motherboards. The later Intel wifi cards (AX211, etc) are chipset-dependant (some of the functionality they need was offloaded onto newer Intel chipsets) and will not work with many AMD boards, etc. If you're looking to replace a Wifi card on an AMD-based motherboard this is a safe bet. ... show more

  • Works great in my ASUS ROG Laptop!
At first I was a bit hesitant to purchase this for my AMD CPU laptop dual booting Linux/Windows, but it is working great without even having to re-install drivers. Big speed improvements!! Happy with purchase

  • Works well and fast with Windows 10 and Linux Mint 21.3
Installed this card in my system and works out of the box on Linux Mint 21.3 and runs at full speed of my WiFi network. It also works great on Windows 10 after downloading the drivers from Intel's website and it too runs at the full speed of my WiFi network.
