    • If you slow-cook in your Instant Pot, you need this. Really.

Our two Instant Pots (one at home, one in the RV) are in constant use. I probably do a faux rotisserie chicken about once a week, as well as make brown rice, spaghetti squash, pulled pork, meatloaf, you name it. Seriously, put three unrelated leftovers in for five minutes at pressure, you have a tasty new dish. The slow-cook function doesn’t get a ton of hype, but it’s got serious advantage over the usual brand. First, the sauté function. You get to brown the meat, sauté the onions, then put it on slow-cook. Even if you’re not doing that, you can use it to bring the contents up to heat before switching to the slow-cook function. The base of the unit is insulated, so instead of a breakable ceramic liner, you can have more than one dishwasher-safe stainless-steel liner. BUT- if you’re going to do any slow-cooking at all, using the normal pressure lid is a hassle. It lets heat and steam escape, and you can’t see through it. This is the genuine Instant Pot slow-cook lid, it fits great, and ours has taken a couple of serious tumbles without breaking. If you have an Instant Pot languishing in the closet somewhere, it’s time to get it out and give it some exercise. Get this lid, and you’ll see the true potential. ... show more

I really enjoy using the Glass Lid, very helpful to monitor when cooking foods not under pressure. I tried using Saran / Plastic Wraps & other see-thru covering but, not much luck in using. This is so much easier to use, be careful because, like most pan / pot lids it does accumulate some moisture when removing…easy to see the droplets of water / moisture accumulated. Only wish I had purchased sooner, when it first became available. Great price on Amazon, as always : ) ... show more

Really well made. If you have leftovers or want to prepare in advance just get this. Should come standard with the instant Pot but most of the time there aren't any leftovers! This is a heavy duty cover.... not the cheaper stretch one size fits all you might be tempted to get.
