I wanted to have another airbrush to add to the other 2 simply so I don’t have to change and clean when I need a few colors. I am not and nowhere near an artist or professional painter so I can’t comment how this (or my other) airbrushes compare to a higher-end model. My purposes are simple – light touch-ups, 3D printed models, and occasional food needs. I use an older Testors pump which so far hasn’t failed me.     • Great middle of the road brush
Overall, I think this is a pretty good piece of kit. Definitely a slight step up from the cheapest of the cheap airbrushes you can find on Amazon. The construction is solid. All metal parts, replaceable needs and nozzles included. Swappable cup sizes. Packaged in a pretty robust, and magnetized!, cardboard box that doubles as pretty nice storage, honestly. In the hand it feels good, nice weight, and again - feels solid. The .3 needle is what is installed standard. I immediately swapped to the .2 to test this out. The swap was simple. Nozzles are the basic threaded style and they include a nozzle wrench. With the nozzle and needle swapped, my next step was to throw a quick connect valve on. This is where I ran into the first problem. For some reason, w/ the quick connect I had a persistent leak. I haven't experienced this w/ other airbrushes so I swapped between a few using the same quick connect piece. No issues on the other brushes which leads me to believe that the issue lies in the threading on the brush itself. I did a few wraps of teflon plumbers tape and it solved the issue. Not a huge deal but definitely something to note. After that, I was off to the races. I decided to test on 20 Games Workshop chaos cultists laying down all my basecoats. The coats when down smooth with no sputtering or spitting. The end result was great. I had no performance issues at all. The tip dry was a bit excessive but using light colors as I was and spraying 20 models I can't fault the brush for that. Again, these brushes sit in kind of an odd middle ground. Definitely not high end but not cheap junk either. This is a solid tool that will do the jobs you want it to do. I believe some of the tolerances might not be as tight as more expensive brushes and time will tell how the seals hold up. (I'm just using acrylics, I am uncertain if these can handle lacquers or anything more abrasive.) I see nothing in the included documents about using with harsher solvents so I can't advise on that. Overall, a workhorse that will get the job done and probably best for beginners. ... show more

I have a bunch of airbrushes but am a total novice. This worked fine with my cheap Ali compressor and didn’t jam right away, so I’m very happy. Good value.

    • Great tool for crafts
I'm not knowledgeable about these things, I got this for my daughter, who is a arts & crafts maniac. She is delighted with it and say it works great and enables her to do things that were impossible for her before. I'm trying to help with mixing paints and it's been fun. We've been running it of a tool compressor, but it's very loud and we're getting the airbrush compressor. This set is a great way to get your kids into crafts without breaking the bank, and you can also use it around the house for various purposes. Right now, we're making some Christmas ornaments :) This is a great set considering the price and a lot of fun. Highly recommended! ... show more

For an entry-level airbrush this has a fairly solid build. It’s fairly easy to set up and use. As for air pressure we used it with a multipurpose multi pressure compressor and noticed no leakage. I gave this to my son, who is an artist for a large graphics department in Louisiana. He really likes it and says it is very well made, and is adjustable for small to medium sized work. I actually like the InoKraft gun better than Master ABs. I use the .5 needle with enamel spray to apply a final protective coat to my minis.
