It was super easy to assemble, I set it up alone in less than 20 mins. It is pretty sturdy and works for my chickens. I bought 2 of them to keep my roosters separated. It is a good runner and I would recommend it. I cut a hole out with bolt cutters to attach it to the coops I made. My chickens seem really happy and are laying eggs. It has a stability bar in the middle and my chickens love it, they use it to perch on. Easy to put together and pretty durable. I like all the different doors for access. I use it for my grow outs of chicks and ducklings. Bars are too wide for young chicks, but good for month old birds. Might also get one as a run attachment for a bantam coop. Definitely comes in handy!

We are first-time urban chicken owners and I spent a lot of time looking for a daytime run to attach to our coop. For size reference we have a flock of 7 chickens between 8-9 weeks old, of various medium breeds. My biggest and almost only complaint with this is how terrible the instructions are. It made assembly needlessly frustrating, and actually had the instructions been better this would have been a cinch to put together. Overall I'm very happy with it. THIS IS NOT A PREDATOR PROOF RUN and I knew that before purchasing. I went along the entire base of the run with hardware cloth prior to ever putting the chicks inside, and covered the top portion with aviary netting. Otherwise the chicks can hop right out and a variety of predators can get in. We started taking our chicks outside for a short supervised period after they were only 1-2 weeks old and used this to keep them contained. It is large enough my children could sit inside comfortably, and even I at 5'4 and 170lbs can squeeze in through the doors if I must. I moved our chicks outside at 5 weeks old when the temperature got warm enough, at which point we added this to our coop. I removed one end panel from the run and lined it up in front of the door to our coop. It's not actually attached, but sits as closely as it can get. The top panel of the run that has a door is right next to the coop, so I use that to lean in and open/close the actual coop door. Our coop structure itself sits on top of concrete AND is entirely wrapped on the sides and under the bottom with hardware cloth so no predators can get in. For that reason my coop alone is predator proof, but the run is not. With the modifications I made with the hardware cloth and aviary netting it is day-time predator proof but I would NEVER leave my chicks in there at night without more serious changes to it. I used this all summer to move six chickens around my yard every day. It is kind of flimsy, so I added a few extra zip ties to it. It is easy to move.

This is perfect for my chickens. The product is well made, durable, and looks great. You have to get two people to put this together. The cage is easy to put together if you have the panels on the ground and attach them that way. I am happy with this cage.

I would put a max of 4 grown birds in this and it would need to be moved every day with 4 for them to remain healthy. I guess it’s a good temporary solution. Probably good size for bunnies.

I purchased this to actually use as a makeshift catio for our back porch as I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. Putting it together myself wasn’t too terrible, took me about 30 mins once I figured out how all the panels went. Because I used this as a catio, I didn’t include the middle bar but instead zip tied the two peices at the top together so the connection was more stable. It does come with a blue tarp for sun and rain protection already, and I had a sunshade that I added underneath to give them more shade as we live in a very hot area. I have a cat tunnel that fits perfectly in the hole of the cage door and it leads to our pet door from inside. Our cats absolutely love being able to go safely outside now during the day, but I would not leave any animals inside overnight as it could definitely break with enough brute force. It’s definitely rickety and we (fortunately) haven’t seen how it holds up against predators, but it’s held up to the elements so far and our chickens enjoy it. It’s the same material as a metal dog crate but doesn’t lock in the same so it’s pretty flimsy - makes it fairly easy to move though (until you stake it in). It could definitely use another stabilizer bar. Assembly instructions leave much to be desired but it’s not too terrible to figure out. It’s a little smaller than you think so I’m considering buying a second, but overall I’d say it’s a bit overpriced so I’m not thrilled at the prospect. ... show more
