I didn't realize that I have 2 of the "least effective" hair colors (red & gray). I found this laser easy to use and after 3x a week for 3 weeks, I did see less hair. The hair I was hoping to reduce or get rid of was on my chin. I am excited to see if I can get other parts of my body to have less hair too but wanted to try on a small spot first. This is a nice set for laser hair removal. The equipment looks to be well made and should last. There are add-ons that are meant for facial or other areas. The remover is lightweight and comfortable to hold. Most of all it is simple to use. When using the laser hair remover, make sure to wear the provided glasses to protect your eyes. Removing the hair needs to be done for at least a few weeks until you notice a difference. Those that want immediate results, you will have to be patient as it does work. When using it, you may feel a sensation but it is not painful. As you use the remover, you will notice that the hair will slowly get thinner and eventually you will not see it anymore. ... show more

I think the most important thing to know about this laser hair removal is that you need to be patient as it isn't going to remove hair after just one use. Even professional laser hair removal takes several sessions. This unit can take several weeks to months to see results, but you will see results. You may or may not feel a sensation, but it is never painful. Hair will slowly start to thin, and then eventually disappear. This unit is easy and safe to use at home. I usually just focus on one area, but you could do several at a time. If you want to do laser hair removal in the privacy of your own home, this is the best unit to get!! ... show more

    • Effective but slower results than expected
I’ve used multiple brands of laser hair removal devices for home use and find this one to be comparable to the high end ones. Most devices offer the same results so it comes down to the extra features and strength of the output. This doesn’t get hot but the cool down effect does make a difference and is a great feature to have. After I got to the higher levels this helped my skin feel more smooth and not dry and irritated. Without the cooling effect my skin sometimes feels like it got a rub burn. After each use I do follow up with lotion to help keep my skin hydrated. The only downside and this is with most devices is that it takes almost a month if not more to see real results. So far this slowed down my hair growth and hasn’t fully eliminated it yet. This set looks well made. I like the add ons for focused removal on face or bikini area. Installation/setup: Use as directed. Be sure to wear the glasses to protect your eyes. It doesn’t work right away, it takes a few weeks to see a difference but have patience. It does work. Final thoughts: I like this, I got it to remove hair from my face so I can’t speak to the “Ice” effect as it doesn’t work while using the add on for the face. It seems to be working, I have much less hair on my lip and chin. I am getting older and I am getting thicker hairs on my face, much like my mother did at my age. I'm a guy who grows body hair like a 1950's wolfman. It keeps increasing as I age and I've grown tired of it, so I got this handy device to try to get rid of some of it. It's lightweight, comfortable in the hand, and easy to use. I can use full power on most of the areas I'm trying to clean up. I do feel a bit of a hot jolt every time it flashes, but it doesn't cross the line into painful and my skin seems to tolerate it. There's much less of a jolt effect at lower power levels. After 3 weeks of 3x/week usage I see that not as many hairs are growing back in some places where I've used it. It's probably best to to only use it in areas where you're committed to getting rid of all of the hair as it looks like it grow back in patches if you try to use this as a half measure to reduce the total volume of hair in an area. The attachments can be handy for smaller areas. It says that you don't get the cooling effect using them, but they weren't hot on my skin for the limited amount of time I was using them. ... show more
