This is a great product for each stage. I originally got this for tummy time and learning how to sit up. My baby is now 11-months and crawls over to it now and uses it as a seat still. I love how you can adjust it to your specific needs.

Great toy that has several uses, but I’d describe it more as a 2-in-1. There is the seated support and laying/tummy time. Seated support use - definitely need to make sure your baby can do a decent amount of assisted sitting before using this. While is seems to use their muscles (without doing the work for them), because of its soft/easy manipulated material a baby can easy sink in the bottom and sort of fold like a lawn chair. We have baby sort of lean back versus sit upright and she can grab her toes, she enjoys that. When they’re 4-5 months it should probably only be used in this function in small spurts. Floor time use - great for laying but with head propped and playing with toy bar. Good for babies who prefer tummy tiny when they are propped up slightly. Lots of space for placing in different areas or to face different directions. Very soft so comfortable for baby to lay on either side. Overall use - easily manipulated into various positions. Toys that came with don’t stay on very well but are cute and fun for baby. With the toy rings you could easily attach other dangle toys. Toy bar is easy to clip in and out but doesn't necessarily stay upright easily. Easy to wash in the washer. ... show more

It has been an excellent addition to our baby’s development routine. My baby enjoys tummy time, sitting practice, and playing with the toys on the sides. It's very comfortable and safe for my baby. Spit-ups happen, but cleaning the support is easy with a quick wipe-down, and the fabric stays in good shape even after repeated cleanings. I even threw that into the washer, and it still was alive :). I wish it had a little more support from the sides so that my baby wouldn't lean on one side, but overall, it was a great start for my baby and my baby's development. ... show more
