These stools were just what we needed for limited space. They arrived quickly and were very easy to put together (maybe 5 minutes...10 max)! The reason for only 4 stars: one stool had chipped paint on all 4 metal legs like it was used. Chips were small enough to not bother returning. Other stool was fine and still had tags on it. It also says they swivel. Haven't figured out how because the "spinning" is how you raise/lower the height and we tightened ours to maintain a specific height. Not a big deal to us, however. Lastly, the wood is whited washed and described as "silver". I don't recall seeing that pre-order, nor did the pics look that "antiqued", but dark. It's pretty, it just doesn't match my bar as I intended because of that. Overall pleased. ... show more

I like that these are adjustable. Seems that barstools come in many heights and instead of hoping to get the right height I chose this adjustable one. No regrets. Beautiful stools. They come in pieces so be prepared to put them together. Took me about 40 minutes to put 4 together. These are sturdy and comfortable. Great addition to our kitchen.

These bar stools are exactly what I was looking for. They are very sturdy - even when at the maximum height. I was a little worried when I opened the box and took out the base that they would not be tall enough, but with the stool fully assembled, they are just the right size for a 42” bar height. Very solid and super easy to assemble. (The wrench that they provide is not sized appropriately so it slips before the nuts are fully tightened, but sufficient if you don’t have real tools to work with. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Don’t expect to sit comfortably for more than an hour or so, but for a typical meal or drink they are great. ... show more
