I needed to replace my child's cheap cardboard over the door hoop and got excited when I saw this one. Boy, this hoop far exceeded any and all of whatever expectations I had. It is solid, so well-made that it's worth every penny. It was easy to put together and for now we decided not to mount it to the wall and just want the ability to move it from one room to the other. It comes with everything you need should you decide to put it on the wall. I took the second picture to illustrate that the manufacturers spared no expense in making this because the materials used to make it are not cheap at all, they are some heavy duty hardware. It is made of plexiglass and the third picture shows you the thick foam on the board so that you don't damage your door or wall. I really like that it comes with a lot of balls (with the pump) so that other kids or adults can take turns without having to wait for that one solitary ball to bounce back. I like that the balls are soft and inflatable so that it doesn't hurt my child should it bounce back to him unexpectedly and also it won't damage any items in the house. This hoop is worth hearing my child laugh and have so much fun that he didn't want to stop to eat dinner. I'm so glad I got this! ... show more

This hoop is much better quality than what I was expecting. I bought it for my kids so I thought it would be cheap plastic, but it’s actually very nice! The back is a plexiglass type material that arrives with an anti-scratch plastic wrap. And the hoop is strong metal. Comes with everything you need for assembly - wrench, screwdriver, brackets, mounting screws and drywall anchors. The back and the clips are padded which is great to prevent scratching whatever you hang it over. My little kids thought it was too high over a door, so I hung it low over a dresser drawer. I like that you can move it around easily. My door was still able to close with the hooks hanging over it, I imagine this might vary depending on the door. One of our balls was slightly smaller and brighter in color than the other three - no big deal. Our grandsons loved playing with this hoop at our home this weekend. They are 7 & 4 so we decided hanging it on a door made the hoop too high. We then put it on the back of a heavy wooden chair and it worked great! The balls are perfect for smaller hands and having 4 of them helps with sharing issues. This basketball hoop comes in the presentable cardboard box. It has all the tools that needed for putting this together from screw driver, spanner and pump. It took only few mins to put it together. It has 4 balls which makes it easy for group play. It has two hanging options, over the door and wall mounting. It's a great buy. My kids (4 & 6) love this hoop! The assembly was really straight forward, and, as you can see, I used the over the door hangers rather than than screwing it into the wall. We played this for nearly an hour the first night. The four balls are easy to inflate and super fun. However, the balls are really, really bouncy and lightweight, and the hoop is super tight. I'm not Michael Jordan, but I think I made maybe 5% of the shots I took. The kids don't notice and just play for fun. I got this for my son and now i can't stop playing! I originally bought one as a birthday gift and my son wanted one too. It's easy to setup/put together - had my son do it so he gets some experience. Comes with several soft basketballs, air pump and pin. Loving it!
