Sure, a bit inconvenient to open the door- press two button and swing the bottom arm down- but thats the point isn't it. The adhesive has it stuck to the door very, very firmly. The media could not be loaded. I have 2 autistic toddlers, so I needed security in my house. This product is very good so that small children do not get out. Just make sure they don't see you closing or opening, so they don't learn how to do it. I've had them for months and they still haven't come off, the glue is very good. Place as far off the edge of the handle if you want easier access for yourself. I learned the hard way. Gets a little annoying having to use two hands to move the lever. Otherwise it works good.

My son is super strong and fast so we needed to put these on many of our doors. They are strong and pretty easy to install. They fit perfectly and are easy to use. My son is 2.5 and is super strong. He breaks a lot of toys, etc. But he hasn't been able to rip these off the doors. We haven't tried to remove them yet so I'm not sure how that works yet. ... show more

The child proof lever blockers are the best! Once fixed to a surface, they do not come off. The lever handle blockers do just as they are described. I am a classroom teacher for busy little students who are very curious. These locks have saved us time and again by blocking the ability to open lever door handles. The locks are hard for little ones to figure out. It requires a hard pinch on both sides of the lock to release the blocker. Little children do not have the strength or dexterity to activate the release. I highly recommend these child safety locks for doors with lever handles. The media could not be loaded. I bought these to keep my toddler from opening doors in the house. These “locks” prevent her for going outside without anyone knowing or going in the pantry and getting into snacks she’s not supposed to have. The color blends in great with our white doors and they’re easy to install. They are secured to the door by using a strong adhesive and there is no drilling involved.
