Worked great to heat up a 50 gallon kiddie pool from 63 (tap temperature) to 82 degrees in 2-1/2 hours. Overall good product construction, fair price, and met my needs. My advice: make sure you plug this into an outlet on a 20amp breaker for best results.

The media could not be loaded. My kids love playing in our small pool outside but the water never gets warm enough for it to be enjoyable. I was tired of hauling buckets of hot water out for them so I bought this. It raised the temp by 10 degrees within 40 min and about an hour and a half, we were at 92. Used this with a small battery camping shower and a 5 gal bucket. Worked as expected, and actually put out more heat than I was originally counting on (5 gal bucket from ~60° F to 106° F in about 20 or 30 minutes if I recall). The included mini thermometer isn't perfect, but works well enough for this (just don't drop it in the water). And obviously... be safe, do not run without water, watch it, etc. ... show more

This heater is perfect for my use. I have a 100 gallon stock tank that I use for ice baths and I saw this and wondered if it was possible to turn it into a hot tub. It works great. It was in the high 20s and the completely uninsulated tub got up to 110 degrees!! I had to let it cool down some before getting in! I do not get in the water with it in the tub because of all the warnings but I have a 5 gallon bucket heating beside me and just dump it in every 15 minutes or so to keep the temperature up. The 5 gallon bucket gets really hot really quick. I am curious as to how long it will last but so far I’ve used it 30+ Times with 0 problems. It has definitely been worth the money for me even if it quit working tomorrow. I highly recommend. ... show more
