  • Excellent easy Black&White camera
Style: Single
These are excellent little cameras when you want true black & white images from a compact, inexpensive, simple camera. Like all disposable cameras, the images will not be razor sharp or perfectly exposed, but that’s part of the fun and unpredictability of using a single-use camera. The pre-loaded Ilford HP5 Plus film has good exposure latitude, and the built-in flash is powerful enough to illuminate subjects up to 10 feet away, which is good enough for most casual situations. Do keep in mind that the flash button has to be pressed and held EVERY time you want to use the flash. After you take a picture with the flash, the flash shuts off and you have to press and hold the flash button again. I suspect that’s why some people complain about the flash not working. That’s also why I gave it 4 stars rather than five, because a regular on/off switch for the flash would have been more convenient and easier for people to understand. The images I’ve gotten from this camera have surprisingly good contrast and sharpness. The little plastic lens in this camera is actually higher quality than the lenses in most other disposable cameras. There’s some softness in the corners of the images, but the center almost always comes out sharp, as long as the subject isn’t too close or too far away. Kudos to Ilford for still making these! They’re a lot of fun if you use them the right way. :) ... show more

I didn’t realize by the title that they are black and white. I wish I would have read closer, but I was comparing so many.

  • arrived broken
Style: Single
I purchased a few of these for my wedding reception. one of them would not wind nor did the shutter button work. it also appeared different from the others in shape (the broken one was thicker). the rest of them seemed fine, but I haven't gotten them developed yet.

  • It’s okay

I used this at my wedding. Some of the pictures look fantastic while others look foggy. So it’s inconsistent quality but it was still fun to have a black and white disposable camera

  • Lives up to the hype

Got a lemon with a dead battery- no flash. Great pictures nonetheless

  • Total waste
Style: Single
I ordered these cameras and handed them out at my wedding. The flash didn't work on them. All of my pictures were too dark. I wish I could get my money back. Don't waste your money on this product.

  • Terrible Product: Buy and Use at your Own Risk
Style: Single
Devastated; none of these cameras produced viable images. We decided to leave all of our wedding pictures up to these cameras based on our budget and the really good reviews they received (2 reviews, to be exact). We had a small wedding of 8 people in a wonderful well-lit location, and all of our guests had a camera to take candid photos. Not one photo turned out. NOT ONE. Eight cameras, zero photos. We were prepared to have a few be too dark, but every camera failed??!!?? The company said "it must have been a bad lot". Shame on me for relying only on a cardboard camera for my wedding photos, but I truly believed this manufacturer had worked out all the kinks and in all reality, shouldn't a disposable camera work? By the way, all of my guests are smart people, and we all read the directions to make sure we were using them properly. No one can take away our memories, but I'm so disappointed. Terrible purchase, terrible product. ... show more

  • Black and white film!

It doesn’t make clear in bold description that this is black and white film.
