After I ordered this I looked at the SDS and it's 100% petrolatum, and you know what that is. Sure keeps the slag off my nozzle though. So thank you for that.

12/14/2024 I am currently doing FCAW in trades school going for my associates degree right now. This product when applied correctly significantly reduces nozzle cleaning time and helps keep welds clean. I just dip 1/16 to 1/8 in in the container of the gel and it works well. At the beginning of the day your nozzle will be cold so back sure that you wipe the excess off so you don't contaminate the weld pool. From my testing it lasts about 1 hour of constant non stop welding at 25.5 volts, 300ipm wire speed. Will update if anything major happens. ... show more
