The size of this frothing pitcher is perfect for creating a single coffee drink. It works much better with my home espresso machine than the larger pitcher I have. When I want a single serving for myself and don't need very much milk, the steam wand can reach all the way to the bottom to get a nice froth without wasting milk. It is a great addition to my espresso accessories. High quality and easy to clean. It also works great with a frothing wand, and my son tells me it helps make fantastic hot cocoa. :) I almost docked a star for the misleading advertising pictures, but the stated capacity is correct. Pros: - Great size for single servings and a home espresso machine. - Good quality. Cons: - Advertising is misleading. [see pics] They state the actual volume, but a couple of the pictures (especially the tiny espresso cup one) make it appear much larger than actual. Why?! ... show more

This beautiful little pitcher is sturdy, and very well made. I use it with a tiny rechargeable milk-frother and it is a joy to use. It cleans up easily, and is pretty enough to keep on my counter with coffee supplies.

    • Great espresso machine
I've always loved cafe-style coffees but never had my own espresso machine. Needless to say, I had no idea what to expect when I tried this out. I've always used a Keurig, which is the epitome of easy coffee. I followed the directions to clean the machine before use. Not hard to do. Then I made my first cup of espresso. It was quite simple. Then I tried the steamer and had a little trial and error to make the right frothy hot milk I expected. First time I didn't heat it long enough. It said about 30 seconds, which was not long enough for steaming hot. Next time I made it better and got a good froth. Just a little learning curve is all it takes. My cappuccino was delicious, even without sugar. Super excited to try different coffees and milk options. Glad I got it. The only thing I'm not pleased with is the plastic measuring spoon and tamper. Since they are both in one tool, it's a little tricky to not spill any grounds. I'll get my own separate stainless steel tools. But I didn't think this was a reason to reduce my rating. I still highly recommend it for a beginner or avid coffee drinker. UPDATE: After using it awhile now, I still like the machine. But I reduced the rating by 1*. It's more difficult to find the right size tamper for this. I don't think it's a standard size. I still use the plastic one it came with and hope to find a nicer one. I got a stainless steel scoop though, which is so much better. And the little coffee grounds cup is a challenge to empty. I have to stick my finger in to get the used grounds to come out. You can't just hit it on the side of the trash or counter because the cup will plop out of the holder. There really should be a better way. It works great though, and it's wonderful to have fresh espresso. ... show more

    • perfect classic cappuccino pitcher.
This is a well made small frothing pitcher. It’s twice the volume of a typical cappuccino. Even though it’s a small pitcher it has some weight. It has a nice feel to it. Because it’s a heavy pitcher it maintains it’s heat for other drinks once its heated.

I love my my machine! It took me a bit to figure out how to use it but then I realized you have to remove this from the bottom of the water tank before your first use and now it works perfect !
