This is my 2nd Ikuby Carport system. The first one I bought more than a year ago and as you can see in the photo, it held up well. I love that it doesn’t touch your car and it protects it from the sun, rain, pollen, tree saps and dust. It has two screened windows on each side which allows air to circulate on those hot days but can be closed on those rainy days (I always keep them open). You can easily open the carport from either front or back or both (so you can easily pass through it if needed). If you need to lock it you can use the provided lock mounts but you need to drill them to the ground. It is easy to install, one can do it but it helps a lot when there are two of you as the frame is pretty big. Don’t forget to anchor it to the ground (hardware is provided but you will need a masonry drill bit and a drill if you are anchoring it to a concrete driveway), my first one went through some really heavy winds and it survived them ok. I bought the medium size first and it can easily fit large cars and crossovers easily. But for my second one I purchased the Large one and it is so big that there are lots of extra space in front and back of my car. I think this is the best solution out there right now to protect your car from the elements when a permanent structure is not possible. It is portable, removable and light. I obviously would recommend it as I bought my 2nd one. Issues? The first one I bought did not have any issues during assembly, the 2nd one there are a couple of holes that did not line up but nothing that a drill did not fix. Also after a year outside, you start to see some molds develop on the inside part of the car port as expected on anything that is exposed to moisture outside so you just clean it with some mold spray and that takes care of it. Assembly is super easy and takes around 1.5 hours by yourself. Take your time and separate all parts. My advice would be after the frame is assembled put them both in the upright position and zip tie them all together before throwing the canvas on top. It makes things super easy. I was just in that huge Buffalo 4 ft of snow (11/19/2022) storm and this thing holds up great. Invest in some long snow brushes and put pool noodles on the end to protect the fabric. Obviously this is only for snowy areas. For the most part it only collects in 4 areas on top with the remainder of snow just falling off. I wouldn’t let it get past 6inches at any given time. It even survived some pretty windy conditions with 40mph gusts. Definitely anchor it down. It comes with M14 bolts and the closest US conversion is 1/2 inch anchor bolts. Either invest in a M14 masonry bit or a 1/2 with the same size sleeve anchor. All in all this is amazing and I think the price point is great. Thanks for a wonderful product. Another Update 12/26/2022 This thing survived 70mph winds. I was just in the Blizzard of 2022 in Buffalo and it is perfect. I still cleaned off the top and wouldn’t let more then 8in accumulate but the winds were insane for 2 days straight. I love it. ... show more

PROS: 1. Design: works in "most" weather conditions and doesn't require a building permit. 2. Easy to assemble (2hrs less) CONS: 1. Not for all condition: Not suitable for heavy snow or wind. 2. Installation: Must "anchor" to the ground. Concrete sleeve anchors are not for everyone. You will need a "hammer drill", "1/2 inch carbide bit" (NOT MENTION ANYWHERE), and strong hands. 3. Cover quality: my has two repaired rips and small holes. The material is also not the strongest but not the worst. RECOMMENDATIONS: 1. Don't screw tubes too tight to the base. The tubes can be scratched ( then rust) when pivoting. A solution is to first apply some tape onto the inner side of the base bar before install. 2. Don't use during heavy wind or snow. Strengthen the structure by collapsing both ends to line up all the support bars. 3. (For 1st timer masonry like myself) Vacuum all the debris when drilling. They can block the anchor from inserting. It also does take some strength and time to drill thru concrete. ... show more

Truly outstanding customer service which I will explain below. I bought this for a '72 Corvette and the car easily fit into it. I have used this for over eight months now, including over an unusually harsh winter in a mountain community that was subjected this winter to a once-in-two-decade event. The carport is extremely easy to use and I like that you can bring up just one side or both sides to the middle. I don't have to worry about swirl marks from using a car cover as this sits well away from the car and really keeps out the elements. Rain and snow did not drip through the cover. I think if we had had a normal season, this shelter would have been able to withstand it and I bought it with the regular snow load in mind, having seen from other reviews that it withstood winters back East. It is a good idea to not let the snow accumulate and I knew this when I got the cover. Unfortunately, overnight we had some serious wet snowfall which melted and then froze, creating a thick ice layer which was heavy. Even though the carport is fairly well constructed, under the weight, some of the metal pieces buckled. I contacted customer service to see I could buy replacement pieces, but instead they instantly shipped me the pieces at no charge even though they could have argued that I was at fault. I have to say that this company stands behind its product and I will be purchasing another carport sometime later in the year to protect my other Corvette. ... show more

A little time consuming to assemble, but doable for one person. I’ve had it a month or so now and it’s seen some pretty strong coastal winds and rain but is holding up nicely. I have large size and it’s bigger than you would imagine it’s gonna be . My car is right at 18 ft long and it fits Tightly over it. I’m happy so far ... show more
