The product was exactly as described and seems to be of very good quality. My only comment is that you must install the sockets on one end of the wires yourself. The sockets are sent unattached so that you can adjust the polarity as needed for your system. There were no instructions and someone less familiar with the male and female metal internal connections, might easily make a mistake. A single sheet stating that the internal metal parts are NOT the same and should used so that male-female connections are made, would be very helpful for a lot of people. BTW, I crimped and then soldered the connectors to the wires. I don't know if merely crimping is good enough, but I did both. (Another thing that the instruction sheet could mention.) ... show more

Works great. The strands are so thin that I needed to add ferrules to the ends in order for the clamps on my cheap double-pole DC circuit breaker to grab the wire properly. Thin strands are a good thing, it's just that some cheap clamps won't grab them tightly.
