I didn't really like how the clamp on bottom doesn't adjust its so close you need a table with no lip on the edge has to be thin edge or has a flat bottom other than that works perfecto

As an avid snowboarder, I have been using the Snowboard vice to wax and edge my snowboard for the past season, and I couldn't be happier with the results. This vice is incredibly stable and makes the process of waxing and edging my snowboard much quicker and more efficient. One of the things I appreciate most about this Snowboard Vice is that it allows me to give my board much better tune-ups than I could before. The stability of the vice ensures that the board remains in place while I work, which makes it much easier to apply wax and edge the board without damaging it. In addition to its stability, this Snowboard Vice is also incredibly easy to mount. It comes with all the necessary hardware, and I was able to attach it to the chairs in just a few seconds. The vice's design is also very user-friendly, that make it easy to adjust to fit any size of snowboard. One of the tightening bars did lose a screw, however, it still works without any issue. I would recommend the Snowboard Vice to anyone looking for a more efficient and effective way to wax and edge their snowboard. It is stable, easy to mount, and makes the process of tuning your board much quicker and easier. I didn't really know what I was getting into when I got these, only that I needed something to prop my snowboard up for waxing, since normally I'd have to MacGyver ways to do so. The rubber grips are really effective and they really prevent the board from sliding around when I'm waxing. I can also mount the board vertically or at an angle for edge tuning. The vices are clamped securely and really hold things in place. I wish they'd include some instructions even though everything was easy to figure out, eventually. I hate how I have to go back to the product page just to get clarification on how things are supposed to work rather than having to figure things out on my own. This set of 2 vices is flexible for a wide variety of snow riding equipment. I've been tuning my own skis for several decades now, and never owned a good set of ski vices, but I do now. These grip my wide skis very well to position them for filing the side edges, and can either grip them vertically or at a 45 degree angle. It does this with an ingenious camming block held in place by a clamping screw. The vices seem to be sturdy, made of a reinforced plastic material. All of the actions are smooth. The tops of the vices are wide enough for a snowboard to lay on them for base waxing, but they will only hold one of my skis at a time. One downside of the vices is that the only way to secure them for use is to clamp them to a table or workbench. There were no instructions for use, but they are pretty simple to operate. The set included two straps and two rubber bands, and I couldn't figure out what these would be used for. The logical use would be to hold the ski brakes up to clear the ski bottoms for waxing, but the included rubber bands are way too small. The woven straps have loops on both ends and Velcro closures in between, but I couldn't find a way to make these hold the ski brakes up without letting go. Without use directions, these additions to the kit are worthless in my opinion. The vices should be great for use on my workbench at home. ... show more

This is a perfectly designed product for tuning skis and snowboards. For a tool at this price point, this vice allows you to do everything you need to your skis and snowboards including edge tuning and waxing. I love the 45 degree angle option for using my grinder to sharpen my edges! Was also happily surprised with the non-slip grips for waxing. Skis stayed pretty securely in place. This easily attaches to my workbench when needed and is small enough to store in my ski tool bag which houses my irons, files, wax, etc... If you are looking to save money and tune your skis/boards yourself... this product is a must! ... show more
