I spent a long time looking for a basic adjustable base (no massage) that seemed durable, high quality, and not too expensive. This frame seemed to fit the bill, so I bought it. It didn't work right out of the box. I had to pair the remotes and the motors. And I misread the pairing instructions, so pairing didn't work. I called their support (so nice to be able to talk to someone), and they said they'd send someone out. I then realized my error and was able to pair the remotes, so I called them back and cancelled the ticket. But it was good to be able to talk to someone and good that they were going to send someone to help. One thing I couldn't really compare between the options I was considering was how loud/quite the motors were going to be. But I'm pleased that these motors are quite quiet. Also, just something to be aware of -- if your mattress is too thick (ours is 15"), it can't conform tightly to the frame when it's adjusted to more than just a slightest angles. That's not the frame's fault, it's just physically impossible for something that thick to be really flexible. (Maybe that's why one company said not to use their frame with anything thicker than a 14" mattress.) But you still get the effects of raising and lowering the head/feet. ... show more

I spent two years researching before I bit the bullet and bought these adjustable beds. I love everything about these beds. They look and feel well made. The fold flat one button and programmable memory settings on the remote. Very sturdy. Very quiet - I adjust all the time in the middle of the night and doesn't bother my husband. Came with straps to link the two twin XL beds together into a king. Nice and high adjustable posts. Slipped right into my existing bed frame. And I can even shove all the stuff back under my bed :-) I'm sleeping (and laying in my bed watching TV or looking at my phone) amazingly comfortable now. Just be sure you have help setting them up. They're really heavy! And I'm glad I didn't get the cheaper model without the OneTouch fold-flat feature, or the fancier model with the massage feature. I doubt it would have felt anything through the big mattress. If anything breaks in the future I'll let you know :-) ... show more

The iDealBed 3i was purchased as a dual twin to make into a king bed. The frame is very study steel base with a fabric cover. Consequently the frame is heavy and requires two people to set up. Shipping boxes had holes punched in the sides due to bulkiness and weight of the product. Product packaging protected the frame, however, with only a small cut on the fabric in our case. Motor is quiet, easy to plug in, and works well with remote. Legs are sturdy and screw into the frame. Leg adjusts in height by turning the base, but has no locking mechanism. As the frame has joints to allow for the flex in raising or lowering head or foot sections, the connecting joint must fit flush or leg base is not straight. This was a problem with one leg on one frame. The leg is tilted at an angle to the floor, but we decided it wasn't a fatal flaw so didn't send it back. This is way I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Frankly, given the bulkiness and weight of the frame, I don't know how you would send the product back. My wife likes hers flat and I prefer to have my head raised slightly, so no one needs to compromise with independent beds. Finding sheets for a split king, however, is not as easy. ... show more

I'm going to give this five stars. The only subtraction would have come from slight damage to material on the outer edge. This damage was likely from the factory since the box itself wasn't damaged, and it's in an area inside the folded area when shipped. The mattress covers the one inch by one inch rip, and I don't intend to return or deduct a star. I bought two twin XL to form a king. I was able to get these upstairs myself, they ship as to units, but I don't recommend doing that if you have help. I was able to use our existing platform bed frame. I had to remove some of the wooden slats that previously supported the box spring to allow clearance for the legs and the head adjustment shaft as it extends toward the ground a bit when the frame goes upwards. The bed frame/ headboard are now essentially decorative and have no part in supporting the mattress and is not connected to adjustable bed frame. This is my first experience with an adjustable bed, and it's very comfortable. The head adjustment angle on this model compared to other models and models of competitors is a little larger. However, I don't think that I will ever use it at full extension. The remote control is backlit and the motors are quite responsive in using the remote. The assembly is quite easy. I followed the directions when testing the motors and left one unplugged at a time to pair the remotes. I did not have to push any buttons and both remotes work with their individual beds out of the box, no additional programming necessary. The two frames had sequential numbers for their serial numbers, so they came off the assembly line one after the other. the warranty on the motors at 5 years is 3 years longer than several competitors at a similar price. Both motors on each bed are quite smooth and once the mattresses are on top barely audible when in motion. I didn't find any explanation in the owner's manual on how to program the remotes. Adjust the mattress to the desired position, then press and hold a memory button until the remote backlight flashes. It takes about five seconds. I did a lot of research on what look like quality products and price point before I finally decided to order this particular product. I can't speak for longevity but I have high hopes that it will last for a very long time. Currently, I am happy to have chosen this particular product. ... show more

Our purchase of the iDealBed 3i bed was a win-win for us. We obtained at a good price and the bed has matched our expectations. Very easy to put together - just screw in the legs and plug in. Very quiet, and a great remote with memory settings. Only used a week or so, but so far couldn't ask for anything more. Helping my husband's reflux issues perfectly. ... show more

I bought this bed back in 2021 and about two years later I have a issue with the remote not raising the bed. I called customer service and filed a claim and I was told someone would reach back out to me. A week later nothing. If I was going to buy another base for a mattress, I would look elsewhere.
