This ID-Cooling A610 Air cooler performs really well and the ARGB lighting works great too. See pic. I use it to cool my Intel i7 13700K CPU. As you can see in the picture, I bought a matching fan from ID-Cooling for the rear panel of my Asus Prime AP201 case. (Motherboard is a (micro ATX) Asus Prime Z790M Plus.) One caution, be sure your case is wide enough for this cooler or you might not be able to put your side cover back on. Luckily my Asus AP201 case side cover just fits! I use the i7 13700K integrated on-board GPU, that's why you don't see a GPU mounted in the case. ... show more

Love the price of this cooler. For a 6 heat pipe cooler, I would say this is probably the equivalent of a cooler master hyper 212 in this day and age. Cooling a 5900x I use for gaming a photo editing. For 1080p it's perfect.

Man this is a really effective air cooler. I got the FROZN A610 BLACK. If your build has a black interior theme, then this bad boy is definitely for you. Most importantly, it's going to keep your expensive CPU's running nice and chilly. Just be sure and watch some YouTube videos etc. if this is your first time installing a cooler like this. There are some things you will need to know to make sure it does a good job for you. And don't forget to measure your case. This is a large cooler and it won't fit ALL cases. ID-Cooling has always meant quality in its coolers and fans, and this air cooler continues that tradition. While the new Intel processors tax many air coolers, this unit, with its large radiator and 2000 RPM fan, was made to handle them with aplomb. The key to any air cooler is to get the heat from the processor up, and into the radiator section, then the fan can blow through and cool the radiator. Getting the heat from the processor lid to the radiator involves only direct contact between the processor and the flat base of the cooler coated with thermal paste. Once the heat is held in the base of the heat pipes, it naturally moves upward. This is why the more heat pipes, the better. The largest quantity of pipes I have seen is 8, but that is on a massive air cooler with double radiators, two 140mm fans, and a $100 price tag. That shows how good a bargain this unit is. This cooler is ideal for a mostly quiet PC, the big chunk heatsink with only one fan makes it an easy choice for replacing the stock cooler. Setting fan curves on the motherboard helps to minimize fan noise. I like the black design with discrete plate on top, it has some hefty to it, and it's easy to mount the brackets. Good clearance for RAM memories sticks, and it's not too tall which it's good fit for small cases like micro ATX. I would say it could get away with a core i5 13600k but only if your GPU is not blowing a lot of hot air, which is very difficult to achieve, so I recommend it for mid tier performance PC. ... show more

All of the ID-Cooling coolers I've tried so far have been great, and this one is no different. If you are considering whether you need to spend a ton of money on an AIO, I definitely recommend trying out great value air coolers like this one, because often they can be nearly or just as good as AIOs.
