  • IWS-1807CN is a 5-piece PEX-b crimping tool kit in a compact and durable carrying case, allows you to make a secure connection to PEX with copper crimp rings in sizes 1/2 & 3/4. Crimp and decrimp PEX copper crimp rings in one tool kit.
  • Angle head PEX crimpers crimps in 1/2 & 3/4 sizes are well suited for PEX installation in confined spaces. A go/no-go gauge for gauging crimps is included. The tools are factory calibrated.
  • Copper crimp ring removal tool design allows for removal of copper rings from PEX barb fitting connections and allows fittings to be re-used. The tool works on 1/2, 3/4, 1 copper crimp rings.
  • PEX tubing cutter cuts through up to 1 inch PEX tubings like butter.
  • Each tools are constructed of high quality forged steel for secure connection and long service life. Must have tool for new PEX piping systems and remodeling.

Strong and sturdy, I was impressed with how all the products work. The ring cutter so far is the best one I have, cuts the ring and the leftover pex pipe. When using the crimpers it's great for a confined area to work and they don't open a lot, the effort to do the crimping is minor. The pipe cutter blade is extremely sharp, don't know how long it will last but that's a minor issue to me. It even comes with some clip-rings for crimper repair if needed. Bravo to whoever came up with this product, I just cannot say enough good things about it. I ordered this after being recommended. The cutter works great with a nice clean cut. The crimp tools are really easy to use and seem to be of quality. The case keeps it nice and clean. Definitely recommend this tool set.

Nice kit, with all the right parts and good quality. I had been borrowing a set of crimps, but I keep doing plumbing jobs and decided to get my own set. Biggest advantage is the angle and smaller size. Comes in handy more often than not. The shorter handles do take a little bit more strength to crimp, but I never had a problem getting it done. The ring cutter also worked well. All adjustments were good right out of the box, so no tweaking was required, although adjustments are possible if these wear in after time. ... show more

But, when crimping a 90 degree elbow, the rivet pin on the side is contacting the fitting making crimping difficult.

I was doing some plumbing renovations in an old building and my Apollo crimper was making poor crimps due to me not being able properly align the tool, which looks like a bolt cutter with a similar swing. These worked well, even though they are pretty hard to squeeze, but considering that the Apollo crimper took similar effort with even the long handles, they are really good. With a little practice, you can use them one handed. Also, I like that the crimp diameter can be adjusted if your crimps fall out of spec. ... show more

I've owned for a few weeks. So far I've made several pex repairs. Both crimper work as they should. The cutters are surprisingly sharp and cut straight. Haven't used the ring cutter yet. Even the case is well built and sturdy. Very pleased with this purchase.
