For the money, this is a very well made cable. The wires are insulated and separated. It's long enough to fit my GPU in my case. It looks great... I just wish it's a little cheaper since it does not have any devices on it. It's straight through wires only

the price was pretty good, but without some kind of way to mount the graphics card I would have to have to purchase a separate piece . It is a good well made product and if you plan better than I did you might not have to end up modifying your case.

Used this cable to free up the single x1 slot and give my GPU a bit of breathing room by mounting it externally (courtesy of zip ties and non-conductive spacers. read: cardboard shims). Works like a charm, though it should be noted that there is zero zip zilch lateral flex to this cable, so couldn't get creative with the placement of the GPU. I used this on a elgato 4K pro and it worked. It didn’t fit my existing pci slot frame and I had to support it just using the expansion slot screws which is fine. That’s on my thermal take case if anyone wants to know.

The first time I used it I had to unplug and replug, power off and on again about 4 times. But since then I've swapped GPUs and it's worked every time. Maybe it needed a bit of "working in"... who knows, but it works well. Tested with A520 Motherboard and old non-gaming 1 or 2GB GPUs.

    • Good PCIE extender, a few notes...
I bought this for my custom case to use on relocating my video card to behind the motherboard. I bought this one cause it was flexible and I needed the cable end at 180 degrees. It works great, have not had problems. Only one tiny thing to mention, the two screw mounting holes on the end connector are a different location than other PCIE extensions I've owned.     • An extender that withstands stress
I was using this extender to mount a GPU in an unorthodox case and it worked great. Even though you should never been the cable sharply, it worked just fine when I accidentally did. The connections are quite solid too, and the generous length lends itself to a lot of possibilities.
